Afu was going to be taking a page out of Issa's book and paying attention... of course he had no intentions of staying with his pride once he's grown... it wasn't in his nature, but he would have to learn... wouldn't he? "Looks like I've got alot to learn..." He mused. "I'd be ready for that..." He said referring to L.U.

Issa grinned. "I love learning.. Its one of the great things about being in a Pride, you get to meet so many lions and learn so many things!"
She didn't mention she would rather be away from her current Pride, rather let that just roll to the back of her mind. It wasn't something that need to be said.
"And in a Pride.. You always have someone to play with, although.. It is much more fun to sneak out and meet new friends."

He grinned. He could relate. "I agree with you there. Although, I'm not sure if there are any lions my age, well... besides my brother in my pride..." Afu figured if there weren't any cubs, he could learn from the elder lions.

Issa scrunched up her nose. "Aww! Having just siblings around is no fun.. But!! Its much better to sneak out and have a secret club when you have siblings.. "
She gave a little laugh. "My brothers and sister have no clue that I go exploring every night!"

Issaria giggled, her laughter as pure as a crystaline stream flowing over rocks. She seemed to consider his words, and bowed his head as though she were ashamed.
"Well! Adit would whine because I didn't bring him.. He so loves adventure (he's my solar Brother you see) and games... Salania would probably just fight with me about it.. We don't get along well.. And Hinhallow.." She mused for a moment. "I don't know what Hin would do.. He's.. Rather hard to figure out lately.. Very quiet and introspective..."

Afu nodded, knowing what having a sibling you weren't sure about was like. "My brother, Achilles... he's a fighter... he's younger than me, but he's a little bigger... I can never tell what he's thinking..."

Issa nodded, glad to hear she wasn't the only one confused by a brother. Although.. Hinhallow had never been a fighter.. And in fact, was more of a dreamer and a stargazer by the day. "I hope nothing's bothering him.. Although, I can't think what would, I know I have no clue how to help."
She gave a sigh, disliking being powerless to help those she cared for. However, the few times she had talked to Hin as of late, he gave her vague, airy answers that merely puzzled her more than his silence.

Afu saw her agony and nuzzled her, in an attempt to offer comfort. "I'm sure that when Hin is ready he'll talk to you... Perhaps nothing is bothering him at all...maybe he's...growing up?" He offered his thoughts, hoping to ease her discomfort.

Issa beamed, relieved at the idea. "Yes.. Maybe that is it!"
She nodded and seemed much happier, assured that if something was bothering Hinhallow he would tell her... No matter what.

Afu smiled. "Glad to be of service, milday." He said with a charming tone. His eyes scanned the pridelands. They sure were different at night. "We've walked quite far... perhaps you'd like to take a rest?" He was curious to see if she was tired...

Issaria laughed and dipped her head in a partial bow, quite impressed at his courtly manners. She glanced around the Pride Lands and gave a small smile, surprised at how far they had come.
"Oh I'm quite fine.. But if you would like to rest, I would not mind." She said cheerfully, quite used to making longer treks than this.

"I'm fine." He said as he trotted a little ahead of her. "Infact..." He looked over his shoulder, a challenging look in his eyes. "I feel fit for a sprint... " He nodded his head towards a scruffy looking tree in the not too far distance, offering a race of sorts. "Perhaps a prize for the winner?" He tempted her.

Always one for competition, Issa smiled and danced up to stand even with him. She eyed the tree, and then her opponent, a keen gleam in her blue eyes.
"What's the Prize?" She asked. "I'm always up for a race."

A devilish smile appeared on his face. "The prize? Why a kiss, my dear." He winked. "Unless of course, you decline." He didn't want to force her into anything she didn't want to do.
