after destroying all of the spears on the cliff lokey decieded he should rest his chi and began to meditate whilst thinking on matters thet had befallen him since his rather rude upheaval of his home. During his meditation Lokey had noticed that only while meditating he could sense vibrations in the earth(similar to tong be fong)

Her eyes filled with tears as she sat under a tree, her eyes down.
It wasn't fair, she decided, everyone always ends up leaving me. It must be her punishment. She was alone again.
"Well no sense crying over it." She said firmly, though her eyes still glistened.
"I need to start practising what he taught me if its to help me at all." She remembered his talk about Earth being their element, so she took off her sandals, and left them by the tree.
She took a deep breath and raising a hand, she focused, and saw a pebble shake and roll towards her. Her surprise made her stop.
"Hmm...I can do this? Even if it is small." Her face lit up. "I can do this! Woo!" She closed her eyes and tried again...

She had decided to head to 'Ba Sing Say' to try and find her old friend, Will. He had helped her escape in the first place and was with her for the weeks afterwards...but he had vanished mysteriously without a trace.
She was adamant to try and find him even if it meant being captured herself. They can torture me all they want, I never did anything wrong. She said to herself silently. She knew it was a risk, but it had to be done.
On the way there she had decided to try and practise her Earthbending moves, Will had taught her most of what she knew before he left.
She straightened her back, and closed her eyes, but then decided to watch instead. She had always been fascinated by the bending of the elements.
"Okay...let me try something.." She thought back to what Will had tried to show her. She had not been successful at the time, but now...maybe.
Concentrating she focused her stance and raised her fist suddenly, raising with it a medium sized rock into the air. Before she could lose her concentration she punched forwards and it shot a small distance before falling onto the floor and crumbling.
"Ah...well...that was better than before." She shrugged, and could feel herself going red. At least no one was there to see her loss of control.
She shook her head and decided to continue on her way. It was only a matter of time before the walls of 'Ba Sing Say' were visible.

Lokey heard a large pound on the earth not to far from were he was practicing so he had decided to check it out. He picked up his gear and walked towards the noise and eventually found a girl. He stayed hidden in the trees for even though she didn't really look it he knew to be careful of fire nation's spy's.

Ryuk had been wandering through the Great Forest for a few days, using a long stick he had broken off of a tree, to cut down any vines, moss, and other branches in his way. He stopped, using his bare arm to wipe the sweat off of his face. He had taken off his coat and tied it around his head to block out the sun on most of his face. "God, why do forests have to be so hot?" He said, letting out a tired sigh. "I'm from the Fire Nation, and I think this forest is hotter then there." He continued, starting to walk again. As he walked, he cut down obstacles in his way, and used his free hand to swipe away sweat flies that landed on his forehead to feed on his sweat. He broke through a mass of tangled branches and stopped, looking at a small clearing with a small stream running through the opposite side. Ryuk smiled, knowing where he would set up for the night. Ryuk took off a small pack he was carrying and put it down, along with his coat, and one of his belts, the one that held his supplies. He fell to the ground, and rolled onto his back. Ryuk let out a yawn and looked up at the sky through the branches of the high trees. "The other thing I don't like about forests... They're so big." He said to himself.

Ryuk laid on the ground for several minutes, watching a slight breeze making the branches on the tops of the trees dance as if they were being jumped on by invisible flying lemurs. The breeze slowly traveled down to the ground, traveling across Ryuk's face, chest, legs, and back. He let out a comfortable sigh as he closed his eyes. "If only it was like this all the time..." He said to himself. Ryuk let out a slight moan, opening his eyes, and rolling onto his feet. He then stood up, stretching slightly. His back cracked and he looked around. "Well, I guess I should get started on a camp." He said to himself, weaving his finger between each other and pushing against them, making several loud cracks. First off, he ripped a large plank of bark off a tree and used it to dig a fire pit, knowing he wouldn't have any light at night. He quickly finished that and places the piece of bark in the pit, so the fire would burn on that instead of dirt. He then decided to make the actual shelter. He looked around and saw four trees about five feet apart from each other. He went to his pack and pulled out several feet of rope, which he then tied around the four trees several times until he had a grid of rope all around the trees and inbetween. He then salvaged large leaves from the branches of nearby trees and put that over the ropes, making a roof. Ryuk took a step back and nodded to himself. "Now I just need a wall or two..." He said, looking for something. He spotted two large boulders and smiled, walking over to them. He started pushing it slowly towards his shelter. After a minute of pushing, he got the first boulder between the back two trees, making a back wall. Ryuk let out a tired sigh and did the same thing with the other boulder, putting it in the right side of the shelter.

Ryuk had successfully made a shelter, and a decent one at that. He patted the dirt off of his clothes and let out a tired yawn. He walked over to where he had left his few belonging and picked them up, carrying them over to his new shelter, and put them under the roof. He then got up, bending his aching back backwards, cracking it. "Atleast I'll have a roof over my head tonight." He said to himself. "Now... What else do I need?" He continued, wondering to himself. Ryuk thought to himself for a few moments before knowing what else he needed to do before the shelter was finished. "Alright, I need to make some sort of bed, then get some wood and timber for the fire." He said. "First, I'll make the bed." He continued. Ryuk looked around, trying to find something he could use as a bed. He grabbed some of the leaves he used for the roof and laid them on the ground of the shelter, first moving his stuff. After having a floors, he grabbed several pounds of moss and put it on top of the leaves. He then grabbed more of the large leaves and put it on top of the moss, finishing the bed. He smiled as he looked at his shelter.

Ryuk stretched his arms behind his head, feeling more tired then before due to his work on the shelter. He smiled at his work, inspecting it for flaws. "That should do it." He said, glad. Now... I should-." He started, then stopped because his stomach growled loudly. His shoulder's dropped and he let out a moan. Because of all the work, he had forgotten he hadn't eaten in a few days. "How many days has it been?" He asked himself, counting his fingers. "So, four days?" He replied to his won question, rubbing his stomach. Ryuk got out of his funk, swinging his arms, and looked around. He grabbed the stick he had used to cut down branches and such, and grabbed a small, sharp rock nearby. "I guess I could make a spear and either hunt some fish, or some type of rodent." Ryuk said, thinking to himself. "Though... All I've seen are insects so far." He said, shuddering at the thought of eating Giant Flies. Ryuk then started sharpening the stick with the sharp rock into a spear, very, very slowly.

Ryuk kept carving at the stick with the stone, making the stick sharper, and the rock duller. After several minutes of carving, the stick had become pretty sharp. Suddenly, while finishing up carving it, the rock broke in half, creating a large gash down the inner part of Ryuk's left hand. He winced in pain as he grabbed the bleeding hand. "Crappy rock! Not even being able to stay together until I finish carving my stick." He yelled through his teeth. He got up from his crouched position and ran over to the river, splashing water over the wound, getting out the shards of stone, and cleaning the wound. He splashed the wound away from the water, so his blood wouldn't contaminate his only source of drinking water. After thoroughly cleaning the wound, he went to his shelter and dug through his pack, looking for his medical kit. He found a wrap of bandages and cut a half foot long amount out, which he then wrapped around the lower part of it, then the top, leaving the thumb mobile. Ryuk exercised his finger a few times, making sure he could move them. Satisfied, he put the pack back and walked over, picking up his make-shift spear. "Alright, time to find some dinner." He said.

Ryuk held the now sharpened stick, which could almost be considered a spear, behind his back. Ryuk just need to remember his surroundings, so he wouldn't get lost if he went too far away from the camp. He nodded to himself when he felt he had the area imprinted into his mind. "Alright, let's go." He said. Ryuk quickly yet silently hopped over a bush near his shelter and started to silently jog through the forest, jumping over bushes, ducking under low branches, and dodging any obstacles inbetween. After a few minutes of jogging, Ryuk came to a stop, leaning behind a tree. He was panting slightly, the running taking up a bit of stamina. He held the spear close to his body. He slowly stuck his head out from behind the tree. A smiled slowly spread across his face. There, in a clearing not more then five feet away was a deer. I'm sorry friend, but I need to eat. He though to himself, switching the hand he was holding the spear in his right hand above his head. He was aiming, knowing he would only get one shot. He felt he had his shot, and was about to throw the spear when suddenly, a Wolf Hawk flew out of nowhere, grabbing the deer and flying off, letting out a victorious howl like cry. Ryuk's eye twitched slightly, standing perfectly still.

Ryuk stood where he was, watching where the deer had been, up to the last minute, before a Wolfbat grabbed the deer and flew off with it, screeching a victorious cry out above the treetops, echoing down the trees and out in every direction. After a straight minute of standing perfectly still, Ryuk let out a heavy and saddened sigh, looking down at the ground. "Why...?" He murmured to himself. He took in a deep breath, closing his eyes and looked up, opening his eyes and exhaling. "Why?!" He suddenly yelled. After getting his aggravation out on the tree he had been hiding behind. He gripped his spear tighter then he had before, determined to catch food. He silently ran back towards his camp, taking a different trail then the first time. After a minute or two of running, he saw movement in the corner of his eye. He stopped and spun around, seeing a rabbit looking right at him. Ryuk didn't hesitate. He grabbed his spear and threw it with all his might at the small furry creature. The spear missed by an inch, sending the rabbit launching off. The sad thing was, the spear didn't even pierce into the ground. It just hit the ground and bounced before landing on the ground.

Ryuk walked over and picked up the spear, digging his foot under it and kicking it u, catching it with his right hand and spinning it a few times before stopping it, the point an inch from his nose. He looked down at the tip, and poked it once, to check how sharp it was. He let out a sigh, his hand and shoulders dropping. "It's not even sharp enough to stab a slug..." He moaned. He gripped the spear and turned around, slowly heading back to his camp. He had given up on hunting with a blunt spear. "Maybe I'll try fishing..." He suggested to himself. He started laughing at that. One thing Ryuk didn't have was patience, or atleast without the thrill of fighting. If he wasn't fighting, he was as patient as a Winged Lemur on cactus juice. "I wonder if there are even fish in that small stream." He said. It took Ryuk a few minutes of wandering before he found his camp. He looked around, making sure everything was as he left it. He let out a sigh of relief and stuck the spear into the ground, the point sticking up. "I guess I should find something to sharpen the stick." He said. "Something other then a rock..." He finished, starting to look around.

Ryuk walked around the camp, trying to find anything he could use to sharpen his spear. Ryuk had found a few things he could have used, but most he knew wouldn't. He found a flat sturdy chunk of bark, but he knew that that would have taken forever. He also found another sharp rock, but after what had happened last time, he was cautious about rocks. He gripped the rock tight and threw it as far as he could, it vanishing into the green abyss of the forest. After several minutes of searching for something to sharpen the spear, he gave up. "I need a break." He said, walking over to the little stream by his camp. He took several handfuls and splashed them over his face, getting rid of the dried sweat and dirt that covered it. He then drank a few handfuls and let out a relieved breath. Cooled down, Ryuk got up and walked over to his pack, hoping he could find something in there he could use. He opened it up, and started pulling the contents out of it. "Rope..." He said, pulling out several feet of rope. "Medical Supplies..." He continued, pulling out the kit he had used earlier. "Dagger..." He said, placing the small blade on the ground. "Flint Stone-." He started, but suddenly stopped when he realized he pulled out a dagger from his pack.

A smile slowly creeped across Ryuk's face as he realized he had just pulled out a dagger from his pack. he slowly reached for the dagger and picked it up, the steel felt cold on his hand. He looked it over several times, remembering every experience he had with it. The dagger was dark red in color, the hilt wrapped in a thing dark grey cloth. The blade itself was a bright grey, easily reflecting his face on the blade. He unsheathed the blade and walked over to the spear, after putting all the other supplies back, and sat down infront of the spear. He then started carving the wood. The blade cut the wood so easily, it was like he was trying to shave a twig with a cleaver. He widdled the stick, sharpening the point until it was a round point. Ryuk looked it over and shrugged. He then kept carving, thinning the point until it was about a quarter of an inch thick, making an almost blade at the end. He then started to shave the shaft of the spear, slowly transforming the crooked and twisting wood into a straight and sturdy pole. "That should do it." He said to himself, proud of his work. Ryuk's ears perked as he heard the sound of rustling and out of instinct threw his dagger in a quick and fluent movement, spinning around and hitting a tree ten feet away.

Ryuk smiled, looking up towards where his dagger had pierced into the tree, the tip of the blade a quarter of an inch into the tree. He slowly got up, wiping all the wood shavings from his clothes and walking over to the tree. Ryuk gripped the hilt, looking at what was at the end of the blade. Between the hilt of the dagger and the tree was a two and a half foot long snake, pierced right behind the head. It had been moving a few seconds ago, but it had stopped by the time he grabbed the hilt. He had forgotten how proficient he was with daggers. "And now, I have food." He said, smiling. Ryuk pulled the dagger out of the tree, the snake at the end of the blade. He grabbed it's head and pulled down on the blade quickly, easily cutting the snake in half, creating two halves of the snake. He then swung the blade again, separating the head and catching the body. He threw the head as far as he could so that he wouldn't attract predators near the camp. "Now to cook it." He said. Ryuk walked over to his camp, laying the snake on the piece of bark, then looking around for wood he could use to make a fire.
