Finnish grammar is too weird for me. I don't even know everything about it.

I do have another question though (of course) it's in the same section as the voisimme. I don't get how you can have osata, osaan, osasin and osaisin! I know that ones means 'can' but I don't get how you can have past tense and then infinitive *head explodes*

osata = to can / to be able to
osaan = I can / I'm able to
osasin (past tense) = I could / I was able to
osaisin (-isi-)= I could / I should be able to

Lol not at the moment. But I could make something up if you really want to answer something lol.

Heh, today someone rang for my mother, and I wrote the message (my mum wasn't home) in Finnish. Mainly just to muse myself. Lol. I'm sure all my grammar was wrong though lol.

Hello to you, and "congratulations" for asking so good questions, that I laughed here with my little brother, when we started to think about it. this languages grammar is EVIL.

But, it's surprising how many, say, americans know anything about Finland. Once playing in The Kingdom of Loathing and went to a chat, I greeted everyone... but in finnish. and, it was only Haiku chat, there weren't many players at that time. But still, first they were "wtf?" but in a minute, they were asking "wasn't that finnish?" or greeted nicely back. that was very amazing, when almost everyone in that chat told they have parents or granparents in Finland. I guess someone tried to speak estonian, but hey, that's so close.

...but that's just positive, when someone is interested in our little country :3

...and I've had always 10 in english. interesting? never sweatdrop
it's always nice to know if I made mistakes.

and I would like that swedish idea (ugh...got the meaning?) 'cause we're speaking english here, why not swedish too? I would love to test my skills in web.

Oi. Yes. I have a question. I have no clue how the letters change when you conjugate verbs and add cases and so on. I know there is a pattern...I've seen it somewhere. But I just can't seem to make any sense out of all those webpages. Anyway, after I learn that I just have to learn where to put the "a"'s and stuff...Erm...like object or whatever. Like once I accidentally put,"Englanti" instead of "Englantia" << That what I mean by where to put the "a"'s. Then I need to learn which verbs require certain cases. Like "pidän" requires "sta". "Mä pidän kahvista" (I hope that's right)
