RJ nodded, "Burn the baby to the ground."

Ruby stood next to RJ rolling up onto the tips of her toes and then back to her heals again in an impatient rythmn. "We all gonna just attack in one place?"

(And while I'm waiting I might as well work on the other half of things.)

"Yes to the fireballs"

"And no to fighting in only one spot," RJ shook her head, "Ruby and I will take the back, while the rest of you take the front. We don't want him fleeing the scene after all." She nodded towards Ruby to follow her into the back alley of the apartment complex.

Ruby followed after RJ, a little bit sad that she didn't get to see the fireworks. She peeked back a few times and then dissapeared down in the back of the alley.

As they cleared a good distance between themselves and the others, RJ leaned against a wall and watched Ruby move around, restlessly. "I'm sorry, Ruby, you might not believe it, but I truly didn't want this." RJ closed her eyes and brushed back her hair, then pushed off the wall.

Ruby tilted her head, completely misinterpreting her apology, "it's not your fault, sug..."

RJ shook her head, and pulled out a vial she had put into her pocket earlier.
Ruby's feel good schpiel was cut short as, in a swift motion RJ grabbed Ruby by the hair and pulled back her head, emptying the vial into her mouth. "Oh but it is," She spoke as Ruby gagged and spat out the blue liquid. "You were supposed to have been dead, and since you live, the form would not transfer, and now I have to do it manually, sug." RJ lowered Ruby's unconscious form to the ground, and slowly began to take on the southern girl's appearance. She took the second item out from her pocket, a blade coated in a homemade poison. She sliced a thin line down Ruby's neck, the cut was shallow, but the blood had an immediate reaction to the poison, and would not heal.

She hadn't intended to finish it at first, she would have been content to let her live, but then the orders came. She had to find a way to hold the trust of the supers in general, and Ruby's form could do that, already too many people were doubting RJ. There was also the matter of Mckinnley, and she had to get him off her back.

RJ exchanged clothes, and then lifted up Ruby's body and placed it in a dumpster. "Sorry, sug."
