I've read HP books 1-5 (i was trying to re-read them before i read book 6 but that's not gonna happen). i don't know which is my favorite, but i do love how the books are progressing. at first, they were lighthearted even though serious stuff was happening and then book 4 (GOF) began the change with the really serious stuff(ie Cedric dying crying ). I really liked the transformation. i guess book 4 is definately up there for me tho. it's probably as close to a favorite as i can pick out of them all.

I beg to differ. They totally gunked out on the whole Houseeve Banaza! that was huge! not to mention when Dumbledore was watching when Fred and George entered into the cup, they never had Dance lessons, the whole part where Harry is invited to the World Cup, The World Cup, when Harry and Ron over hear SNape and Karkaroff talking, etc.

I mean in POA they even changed how flitswick looked for heaven's sake! and what was with them singing before the feast at the beginning of the school year? it was just so badly done! it was like an artsy flick that was more impresionistic than actual movie making! it was horible I only have it in my collection to keep it a collection

yeah but they didn't even have Ludo Bagman, or Harry giving his winnings to fred and george, by god if they don't have Weasly's Wizard Weezes im going to explode, they didn't even have the same Fudge that they had in POA... I personally don't think any of the movies are up to the expectations or potentials that they could be.
