Yeah well my parties are better:
First Main:
Cloud
Barret
RedVIII
Second Main:
Cid

Vincent
Third Main:
RedVIII

Yuffie
Also there is one more thing I should tell ya'll is that you don't always play as Cloud. Want to know why because he falls in to the Mako fountain & you play as Cid or Tifa.

Cloud
Yuffie
In that order, cloud was the main attacker/magic user, vincent was the secondary attacker (for long range & flyers) sometimes magic user. & yuffie was the backup attacker, mainly used to heal & cast magic.

Yuffie is just plain funny.. One of her limit breaks are SOOOOOO hilarious.. I think it was the doom one.. Forgot.. She runs like a maniac lol

I use all of them so they would all be in the same level but i use cloud, red, and aeris the most but after she died she got replaced by cid

Cloud, Tifa, and Vincent.
Although I did like the section of the story where Cloud had Mako poisoning and you had to play as Cid... then my favorite team was Cid, Red XIII and Vincent.
And Yuffie made me hate her when she stole the materia. I'm sorry all you Yuffie fans, but, frankly, I wanna strangle her.
... Or Aeris her with a masamune.
