The young Kitsune walked into the church, the hundreds of candles glinting on the steel headband he wore. He chose a pew at the back that only had on person sitting on it, and sat down, opening the copy of the TOS/FAQ in front of him.

"Um...well..." replies the figure, her voice rusty with disuse. "I'm here to see Romuel...or Meghan Mitsume. If you please."

OOC: Is this RP accepting people?

((Always.))
Kyoki slowly walked back inside. Strangely, though weeks had passed outside the church, nothing inside had changed. She made her way back to the pew in the back, noting the child up front talking to Katane. She took her seat and watched, trying not to look too gawking. Who was this girl?
((And I'm open for interaction!))

OOC: As long as its on topic!

IC:
The childs voice drifted back through the pews, suprisingly vigorous for one so young. And with a strange, familiar tint to it, though hard to place.

CoM glides through the church, and smiles down at William. "Greetings to you, young one." She sits daintly next to him. "Any questions regarding your study?" The voice of the child drifts back into her ears. "Oh dear..." she murmurs, shaking her head.

"Not really, I think I have a pretty good grasp of it." William said politely, smiling. "Well, I do have one question. If the mods have our best interests at heart, why are so many areas ignored? The book district is one of the places that is in desperate need of intervention."

Katane notes the other people in the church, but turns back to the visitor and replies.

I don't think either of them are in at the moment. But I'm sure they'll see you as soon as they can.

Slighty embarrased by the unsatisfactory answer, Katane attemps to make conversation with the girl.

So......where are you from? Have you ever visited the church before?

"Um," replies the child, unsure of how to answer. "Yes, once....It was a long time ago and...things didn't work out. I'm hoping to make amends with the creators, but..." She trails off, worriedly

An ackward moment. Katane hated these. What was she supposed to say now? Should she try to carry on shallow conversation, or stand there like a leaden weight? It seemed that the girl was uncomfortable with the present topic, so something should be done at least. Finally she sighs and asks.

Um.... would you like some tea or something while you wait?

*wanders through the halls, checking the mail...so busy during the holidays, her earbuds twitching*

Katane? Katane? Is that you?

Where are you, you silly girl? I....

"uhhhhhhh" replies the child, even more nervous than before. "Yes tea would be..." She trails off once more, this time not because of an uncomfortable question, but rather because her eyes are tracking the Saint as she come towards the door. Suddenly the child stands up straighter, her eyes more focused than they have been in ages, and her voice has lost the uncertaintly and rustiness of before. She may as well have been reborn.
The child goes to one knee before the saint and bows her head in supplication.

"Lady Romuel, May I have a word with you in private?"

***This assumes the answer is yes....sometime later in Rommy's office...***

The child remains standing tall, and its now obvious that this is no child, but a young woman, made small by the burdens of guilt she carries. She removes the Kitsune Mask to reveal her face, and begins before the saint can protest her sacriligious presence within the church. She speaks quickly, as if she's afraid she'll lose her nerve.

"I know you hadn't expected to see me here. Not after the last...incident. But I think I have learned much from my travels outside the bounds of the church. For one thing, I've learned patience, which is something I didn't have much of before, and I've learned how bad things are out there, and I've learned that I really really miss you and OH! Please let me come back! My heart...hurts from being away from you, and those here. I ache every time I pass by the church, right down to my soul..." She falls silent, awaiting the verdict.

She stares across the desk, straining to sit, as even the slightest sudden move seems to startle the young woman past reason. The tears flow freely upon seeing the tortured visage of someone long cherished. She keeps wanting to open her mouth to finish this conversation long before it's over, but sees the incredible need for this young lady to finish.

"Silly girl....

She walks slowly from the desk, light shimmering on her wings, moving slowly lest this miraculous dream disappear upon contact

"Your heart has known no greater pain, than the pain I felt that we had lost you. That we had hurt you so much we would never see your smile again. Our home has had a hole in it that is roughly your size."

The arms and wings enfold the woman, and the tears flow feely.

"please...please come back. I'll even pay my library fines."

"I...I...." stutters the young girl. "I never expected...." She collapses into Rommy's arms, sobbing with joy and comfort. That was all the further comment she needed to say. I've been accepted back. I'm home.

Be kind, man. I've never really RPed before. ^^;

The girl walked along the streets of Barton Town, quickly darting from the slum to Ian's shop. Using the restroom, she slips on a labcaot and glasses in a feeble attempt to hide her high school uniform. The people on the streets would do anything to younger teen girls to get the items their greed desired.
Walking along the brown colored pavement, she walked by the Church of Mod and stared. Even though she was an accepted member, she had only entered the church on very rare occaisons. After standing and hearing the prayers a bit, she could stand it no longer and slipped through the doorway.

Hello...? I'm uh... um...

Afraid of the consequences for finally showing up after such long periods of abandonment, the blue-eyed lass blushed and went to the section of candles, lighting one and praying to Lanzer

Mod, Creater, Dearest Lanzer, I thank you for all I'm given. Please continue to bless me with your showings of kindness, and allow me the resolve to show others the kindess you show me. In the Modist name I pray, Admin.

Katane watches the girl go with Romuel to the saint's office. She notes that the visitor seems to know where she is going, as though she were familiar with these halls. Sighing, Katane hopes that all goes well, whatever this strange meeting means.

She's seems nice enough. I wonder if I'll see her again soon.

The flickering light of a candle catches Katane's attention at the corner of her eye. Turning her head slightly, she saw Kyraa knelt in prayer. Katane smiles. It seemed more than one person had returned to the church. Not wanting to disturb her friends devotions, she turns and quietly slips out of the sanctuary. As the door to the church closes behind her, she gazes up at the night sky. All was well. For the moment, everything seemed right. With the next gust of wind, she was gone. But she would return to the church's doorstep the next day, as always it was.

Finishing her prayer, Kyraa looked up and noticed the emptyness of the church. It really does get quiet around here... who would have thought with all the merrymaking? She stepped out of the main chamber and into the streets.

Oddly, she noticed some wanderers of the Chatterbox Alley moving into the Extended discussion, making a beeline straight for Morality and Religion Lane.
Not good! Not good! What will I do?! No one's at the church!!!

The doors of the church swing open and in comes a young man. He has a confident, military bearing about him. He looks around as if seeing things that he long took for granted, changed. After less than a moments reflection he strides to the front of the church, ignoring anyone in his way. He stops at the front of the church and kneels.
Mods, forgive a son who has wandered. Please bestow upon me your forgiveness and the forgiveness of my fellow modists.
He then turns and looks for someone to talk to.
