Cody's eyes widened a bit. He'd only played this game with Edan in the past and he'd bowled right over. One of his hooves slipped a bit but he managed to catch his footing once again. Legia was a bit older than him... maybe that was it. "Doin' good! See told ya." He grinned then began taking a slow step forward, risking loosing his balance slightly to throw more weight ahead.

Ligeia gave a scree of surprise as the very delicate balance that he had in being able to stand up against Cody's strength was thrown when he pushed more of his weight into the game. He gave a rapid flutter of his wings but that wasn't enough to help him from falling off of the tires, luckily enough that he kept from landing on them when he hit the sandy ground that surrounded the tire mountain.
The owl pushed up to his feet and brushed himself off, fluttered his wings, his feathery tail, then tested his arms and legs. Yup, everything was still in working order. He gave a little laugh looking up at Cody before he stepped out of his sandles so that he could get a better grip on the tires and thusly try to present more of a challenge to the bull child.
He then headed back up to the top to try again, wouldn't get anywhere if he gave up after one fall.

Cody threw his arms up in a playful gesture of his victory as the owl boy fell off, "See, das how it's done. Ya gotta suprise 'em sometimes. Nothin' bad if ya fall off, ya did good yer first time. Yer grippers there are good fer this game." He grinned and offered a hand to help Legia back up onto the tire, "Gotta look fer the other guy's weakness too. Use it if ya gotta."

Ligeia took the hand and climbed back up onto the top of the tire mountain with Cody once more. He gave a smile as he stood up tall again and got ready once again to play the game again, this time holding onto the tires with his taloned feet, holding on tight. This way maybe he would last longer?
He smiled as he held his hands out to Cody, "Ready?" He asked.

"There ya go." Cody gave the owl boy a hearty thump on the shoulder once he was back on the tire, "This time just focus. Ya can knock me off, I'm younger'n ya."
He bunckered down once more, grinning as he put his hands against Legeia's once more, tail whipping around behind him. "Ready, this time ya get tah go first."

Ligeia was quite proud of himself, he didn't grunt this time when the younger boy whapped him on the younger. He gave Cody a smile then readied himself once again, "Alright, will do my best." He said, he would try harder this time. Gripping hold of the tires with his feet he looked at his friend then smiled, "Ready?" He asked before he pushed against him, wings opening to help him maintain his balance.

Cody smirked and squared himself down at the owl boy pushed at him again, his hooves pressing against one of the raised groves in the tire, the only thing really keeping him from slipping was how he squared his weight over himself, it would be hard to move him but he was a bit shakey. "See now yer gettin' it, now ya gotta try an' see what'll make me fall over, kay?"

They were pushing in equal amounts Ligeia thought to himself as he looked down at their hands, they were balanced just so as well. He wondered if... he stopped pushing for a moment hoping that Cody would be thrown off balance then gave a great push forward to attempt to take advantage.
He just hoped that this wasn't considered cheating...

It seemed the owl boy's strategy was well enough to throw the bull boy forward. He'd unfortunately taken that moment to force all of his weight forward right as Legia decided to back off a bit. Cody's eyes flew open as he released Legia's hands to flail at the air, his tail snapping around behind him as his hooves scrambled for a foothold.
Unfortunately, Legia wouldn't have the chance to shove Cody over, he did a decent enough job falling from the ground himself.
The bull boy slowly lifted his head up from the grass, spitting a chunk of it out of his mouth.

Ligeia gave a squeak, hopping down off and fluttered to land next to Cody, "Are you alright? I'm sorry! I didn't mean for you..." Fall? Wasn't that the point of the game though, "Umm... eat grass." He finished, flushing some. He fluttered around Cody, looking him over a bit worried, he hoped that the fall hadn't injured his friend...

Cody smirked a bit and got himself up to his hooves and began dusting himself off. "See? Ain't bad. Ya got it in ya just gotta see th' eye of the tiger." He gave Legia a playful punch to the shoulder. More or less his way of showing manly effection or congradulations. "Keep workin' at it an' maybe ye'll be th' tough guy round here too."

Ligeia gave a sighing sound when the bull child got back up, that was a good sign that he hadn't landed wrong in way that he would have hurt himself. He then had to give a flutter of his wings when Cody enthusiastically punched him again, ahh... he was gonna be covered in bruises. Normally was after playing with Cody, not that he minded horribly.
"Ahh, I don't know about me being tougher then you but its a nice compliment." He said, smiling.

"Ya jus' gotta keep yerself focused. Remember tah think 'bout where's best tah knock th' other guy down. I'm big yah an yer a lightweight but ya got good grippers an' yer quick." He flicked his tail and looked back over towards Winter. The woman snapped her book shut and gave a bit of a backwards nod over to him, "Looks like it's time tah get goin' back home."
The boy offered a hand out and a large grin, "Handshake like a man. S' how ya say 'goodbye' all proper like."

Ligeia took Cody's hand, shaking it, "Its been a lot of fun and I will keep what you said in mind." He told his friend, grateful for any advice even if it were just for a game it could be carried over to other activities.
Ligeia then stepped back and looked over to where Vorel was, whistling. The sound got the Frost Dragon's attention he ambled his way over to stand along side his partner.
"I hope to see you again soon Cody!" Ligeia said, smiling brightly before lifting a hand and waved to Winter.
