Karnell Haha, I didn't think think there really were any. But this does seem like the perfect topic to post my idea for a bumpersticker/T-Shirt: Jesus would be standing on the left side with a man bent over in front of him. To thier right would be a caption: "Do you have a little Christ in you?" O.o... XD I LOVE IT!

My ex-boyfriend was Christian and went to a "gay-friendly" church. Not sure which denomination he was though...

If you can't find a religion that you think really fits you, make one up >.> , but not if you're not serious in what you believe tho

Well, I'm Catholic, and the church's view on gays is (at least according to our priest) that anyone who isn't married by the church should not be having sex, that means ANYONE. Unfortunately there is no gay marriage in the Catholic community, so technically you'd have to take a life vow of chastity to be a good Catholic.

Rules were made to be broken, especially stupid ones, btu if that offends you I apologize.

Or you could just not have a religion. But I guess some people just feel that need or call that there's something more out there.

REDGallenger Or you could just not have a religion. But I guess some people just feel that need or call that there's something more out there. There is a difference between being religious and being spiritual. You can believe that there's something more out there without having to join any organized religion, like my self. I'm waiting for an experience in my life to occur that will show me what God or spirit or whatever is to me, till then I believe there's something else out there, but we as humans don't have the right to tell people what it is, thats something we should discover for ourselves.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Yes, Mormons. I've done extensive studies in religion (and I'm going to eventually go back and get a B.A. in Religous Studies--but not until I've gotten my Ph.D. work completed), and believe it or not, the Mormon religious actually makes the most sense out of any religion I've studied, both in belief structure and in practice. There are, obviously, a lot of misconceptions about the religion, and if you speak to a member of the congregation (if you go to the church and see a young-looking person, usually in a white button-down shirt while working, or just the priests), they'll be more than glad to talk to you about the religion. They're actually very relaxed in practice, and focus on just leading a good life. There are many branches of the church that have sprouted, sadly, that twist its teachings into something bad, and there's even a large sect of it that is anti-homosexuality. The TRUE Mormon church discourages the activity, but it does not condemn it.
. . . Ironically, after all of that, I'm not Mormon. I'm agnostic.

Fairy Color: Ruby Name:Nova Actually, there are branches of Wicca where the majority of members in the covens are lesbians (these branches mainly worship the Goddess), and there are branches where the majority of coven members are gay (they mainly worship the God). So... ya. You might want to check your information. Every coven and branch of Wicca that I know of accepts any sexuality.
Can someone who is Universalist explain it to me, please?

The United Methodist Church is pretty open and welcoming to all forms of life. Just be careful still because its not neccesarily the religion as its the people IN the religion.

Malchik_geij Are there any religions that accept anyone who is gay? I've heard of the United Church of Christ, but there's not a church from that denomination around where I live. My parents are taking me to a church that takes the bible about 99% literally. Help! Any info on other religions would be helpful too. (I've been looking into books on buddhism recently) Actually they don't take the bible literaly if they don't accept homosexuals.
Is being homosexual anywhere in the 10 commandments? No.
It's finding a church that isn't narrow minded, not the religion. 3nodding

REDGallenger Or you could just not have a religion. But I guess some people just feel that need or call that there's something more out there. OR people could realize that by following religion so closely that the rules run your life in a way that you don't like, you're living a life you don't like which is more often then not against most religions. The main goal of life in most religions is to live happy and live right. If you're not happy and if the way you're living doesn't seem right to you, then what does that say?

The Bible says more against straight-sex then it ever does about same-sex sex. ((Haha, that sounds funny. Same-sex sex. Lol, I'm such a nerd.))
