Aekepi had been hiding behind one of the trees, and watching, this entire time. He thought that many of the people around were strange, but he had followed 'Rora's voice when he'd heard it, and had hidden, eyes following the others' movements for quite some time. There was a girl with bunny ears, a monster, and Aurora. The latter was the one Aekepi knew. The rest were complete strangers to him. He twitched an ear, and swished his tail lightly, wondering just what they were doing. Songs, hmmm? Maybe he ought to watch a little more - just to know what was going on - before he showed himself. IF he showed himself.
Coughing gave him away before he was ready, and he hurriedly ducked behind another tree, hoping they hadn't heard him. He wasn't ready quite yet!

If Ure had not been so preoccupied in her begging - "Let'su sing!" - then Aekepi would have been totally uncovered. As it was, in mid-argument, the ears swiveled on her head toward the sound, while her talking ceased and she listened, confused. Were there any wolves in this forest?
