KirbyVictorious Spastic waffles KirbyVictorious NOVELIST, being the key word. Well, i might try. It's a good idea, and I love it heart but if it's slightly longer, like three paragraphs or something, you won't axemurder me, wil you? Try your hardest to keep it within word limit, but 10 or 20 words won't kill you.
More than 75 words over may decrease your chances of winning, however. But I still won't axmurder you.Mmkay. Promise? Because I don't have the time for a rewrite, do I, and I'm not gonna cut it off. But I digress, to my typing computer. *meltsintodarknessviamadninjaskillz* There are always things you can cut out.
Revise it and find them.
And yes, I promise.

Ok... Is there a reason why I cannot enter the subforums? I am a new member, but is there something I need to do to be able to go into them?
Thanks

Some of the newer subforums are closed as of late m'dear. The crew is working to transfer all of the poetry out of the main forum.
So they are closed until further notice from our captain. Sorry for that Blue.

Hey, I was wondering, I'm in the process of writing a novel, the working title is "How the Straight Line Curves". Anyway, would it go in the 'works in progress' subform because it's not yet finished (not anywhere close) and would it even be allowed? It's a yaoi novel. (it's more shonen-ai though, so it will stay pg-13) Go here (or have a look at my signature) if you have no idea what yaoi or shonen-ai is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yaoi Thanks! 3nodding

I know, and it'll be fine--I've seen R-rated stories here, it's fine. Just make a short post before that explaining what it is, like we all try to do, right?

What if we have a story that's already finished, and therefore no longer a work in progress? neutral

Put it up! We love it anyway >.< Works in Progress is just a short way to say Really-long-novels-and-other-works-that-may-or-may-not-be-finished-and-take-up-too-much-room-on-the-front-page.
See how long that is? That's why we just call it Works.
POST IT! ^^

Oh, and another question, Waffles. A friend of a friend of mine wrote something called the Hero series, it's a Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time fanfiction, a story in itself, really, and it's seriously the most beautifully written thing I've ever read. It's on the internet, on Google; can I post it here if I say who the author is? Pretty please?

We have a subforum where you can discuss books and others' works, all I asked was that you gave credit where it was due, so as long as you post it there and say who the author is, it's fine.

Yeah, I know. Not a real question. Just throwing the idea out...
