 Japi turned back and followed her new friend directly. "Yay!" she giggled and skipped down the stairs where the employees had decended moments before. "This is gonna be fun."

Risika walked slowly down the stairs, keeping an eye on the stairwell before her. If she heard the employees coming back up, it was time to run for it.
" They look like security," she said softly, just above a whisper. " I guess its a bit more serious than just an earthquake."
She glanced back at Japi, smirkign to herself at the other girl's excitement.

Japi slowed down and tried to be more quiet when she noticed that Risika was whispering. "I wonder what happened," she said, copying her new friend's volume. "Maybe it has something to do with the Aduthule...?"

Risika paused in the stairwell, pondering what Japi had said. Maybe it did have something to do with the Adu, but one could never tell in this day and age.
" I guess we better just check it out. It really could be anything." She laughed softly as she began to walk downward again. " Watch it be nothing."

Japi nearly ran into Risika when she stopped abruptly, but she managed to keep her balance by grabbing the rail. 'I need to slow down.' "But it can't be nothing," she said. "Can it?" Japi's voice had a tinge of whine to it and she stuck out her bottom lip. "That would make me sad."

Shaking her head she started down the stairs at a normal pace.
" I doubt security would rush down into the basement if it was nothing. And yes that would be saddening if it was nothing and we get caught following these guys for, well nothing."
She slowed as she started to see the bottom of the stairwell, this time at a better pace so as not to surprise Japi. Her ears twitched towards the door and she frowned slightly in concentration. Did she hear voices, or was her mind playing tricks on her?
She shrugged it off and reached for the door knob, turning it slowly then peering into the basement.

Dropping the last die, Kanth sighed and glanced at the number walking to the basement, shoving her hands in her pockets. Well... she was curious to see what all the commotion was about, and the 'prize' would have to wait until later... if she ever got one.
