cause it'd be weird if they already released it in japan on the regular system and attempt to hold it off for the new on here.

Well they had a demo of the new Zelda game at E3 this year. That's probably where the english screens came from.

I think they released the first teaser screenshots about 2 years ago. It takes a long time to make those games. ;p
