Thanks for being straightfoward and honest with your opinion about it, instead of trying to "water it down". You've made a good point, and that's definitely something to consider. However, out of curiosity, I ask...what do we do if someone makes a post, particularly starting a topic where it's extremely hard to read, and possibly painful to the eyes? Do you think we should edit the post and make a note letting them know what we did, or perhaps edit the post by making a note telling them to clean up the typing/grammar, or do you have your own idea on that? I don't intend to edit peoples' posts, myself, unless they say something I feel must be removed, but I thought I'd ask.

After this post, I've had my say, I'm going to temporarily drop out of the argument (before it starts) about this.

Sounds like good ideas to me. Albeit, simply deleting the thread wouldn't be the best idea in situation, because chances are if the thread was simply deleted they would post yet another thread wondering where their first one went.

Hmm...I think if that comes up, I'll avoid the problem by noting the problem in the spam thread, then locking it, rather than deleting it immediately. I'll delete it after a few days, of course, since by then they've had time to read it, and see their error.

Sorry about the editing thing, and I don't mean for my "mod powers" to seem like "god powers". One of the main rules I asked for is to have good grammar, and it completely annoys me/slash is a huge pet peeve of mine when I see a thread I want to post in and the first post is with completely bad grammar. It just makes me think that that person's opinion won't be a good one, and I don't want to think that way in this guild. It also just angers me that a person has the time to use good grammar/type something out, but they use a bunch of annoying shortcuts instead. Next time it happens I'll ask them to clean it up themselves first. If they don't oblige, then I'll ask if I can do it.

And as HS said, there are some people with bad grammar. However, I feel like I should stretch bit to get more people in, because we only have about 13 right now.

I shall also review the applications.

A few bands/artists i like are: AC/DC, The Hives, LedZeppelin, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, FranzFerdinand, The Ramones, VanHalen, Weezer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alice In Chains and Cream. There are many others also, but those are my favorites. I'd also like to get to know other music your interested in. I'd like to see your views on different bands and artists.

There are two that I would like to accept, but don't have enough gold.. The first one you domo-ed, and there was another one that I don't see there. I think they were tehfunsize and lemonstalk. I hate it when that happens.. You finally find good members, and they don't have enough gold.
