I just wanted to add something to the idea that one breast is normal if it is larger than the other. That is true. I had the same problem. Only mine was at least 2 cup sizes different. Wherever I read, it would say that is one was slightly larger than the other it was normal, which made me feel that I was not normal. Breast sizes being different is completely normal, wether it is a little, or a big difference.
I ended up having to have surgery to fix the difference, because it was extremely obvious, but yeah, for some reason I just wanted to add that in sweatdrop
-----
Also, Ive got a very embarrassing question. Im on birth control, which is supposed to regulate my periods and make them more light and easier to deal with... but recently, and a few times a few years ago, Ive had some really funky stuff coming out that wasn't blood.
Usually, this is most common with me, Ill get like, purple jelly clumps of stuff. Maybe its a really lot of blood coming out at once or, I dont know. Other than that, sometimes I get a brown gooey substance.
If anyone else has this problem or has had it and seen a doctor, could you tell me if it's normal or not? redface

Maybe it's just coagulated blood from your period. If it's purple, that might not be normal though, and you might want to consider seeing a doctor (in my opinion).
And thanks for the information in differences in breast size. heart

oh-kay . . .So, I'm 19 and I've decided to start using tampons. I've never used them before for various reasons. Anyways, I have a couple of questions and would love it if I could get some advice.
1: how do I determine what absorbancy level to use? I noticed that the flow rate on the back of the box is listed in grams . . .But I don't know how to measure that. Is it based off of how much comes out during the entire course of my cycle, or is it just measured for one hour?
2: Is one brand of tampon better than another?
3: I'm wearing a tampon now, and I've noticed that while I can't feel it inside of me, I can feel where the string is. Is this normal, and how can I keep it from being so annoying?
Thank you in advance to anyone who answers my questions! heart

Its really hard to know how much absorbancy you need. to be safe try out different sizes and wear a pad too, when you find the most effective size then you shall be all set. ------------------------------------
And i have a question, is it normal to have little bumps and little hairs on the pink area of the breast (the n****e) its so embarrasing, just wanted to know

Glowing in the darknesS Its really hard to know how much absorbancy you need. to be safe try out different sizes and wear a pad too, when you find the most effective size then you shall be all set. ------------------------------------ And i have a question, is it normal to have little bumps and little hairs on the pink area of the breast (the n****e) its so embarrasing, just wanted to know I agree. I'd judge your flow by how heavy it us for the first 2 - 3 days, and then look for a tampon based on that absorbancy. Or you could get 2 different types with two different absorbancy types, and see how that works. And if you're still worried about leaks, you can wear a pad when you wear a tampon, until you figure out what works for you. As for the string, I'm not sure sorry, since I don't wear tampons. Glowing: It's normal, I get them too. I get the occasional hair or two from time to time, and I just gently shave it off. I have a few bumps too. Though if it's a lump inside the breast, you might want to get it checked out. I have a bunch of pinks spots and blotches on one of my nipples, and for so long I thought something was wrong. When I went to the doctor earlier this year, I found out it was just a birthmark. xd

Hey, thanks a bunch for your advice.
And to add my two cents to glowing's question: I tend to get stray hairs on my nipples from time to time, but I don't shave them off. Since shaving tends to make the hairs grow back thicker, I pluck them after I get out of the shower. It hurts a lot less that way ^_^

I do it because it's less painful than plucking or tweezing it out, but that's just me.

You just have to try it out. 2. It really depends on the person. Personally, I hate aplicators. I like the o.b. brand. 3. The string has never really bothered me. Maybe it's the brand. My suggestion: try o.b.

Zits are just part of being a teen hun. Sadly I'm 21 now and I'm still getting them. Candy and junk food don't have anything to do with it. That is just a myth. The best thing you can do is talk to a dermatologist about how to properly wash your face. To treat your skin right it takes three steps:
Cleanser- find something mild. I don't like foaming cleansers because they take longer to wash off but that's a personal choice. They open your pores and clean them out.
Toner- also known as astringent- Also something mild. If it really burns or hurts or makes your skin red then that is not a good sign. This closes your pores to keep dirt and oil out of them.
Moisturizer- Even if you have oily skin this is a very important step. Using moisturizer will help you skin produce less oil and generally even everything out.
Try washing just at night of after activities where you sweat a lot. If that doesn't help enough then try washing in the morning as well. Hope that helps!

Masturbation won't cause your period to become irregular. That's probably due to your age, because many girls are irregular while they're in their teens. And some women never have a regular cycle. If you're really worried, talk to your doctor/health care provider, but you're probably ok. Your mom might be able to reassure you too.
