Another thing that really gets at me are girls who think abortion is a type of birth control. I'm not saying I'm anti or pro abortion I just don't think it should be a type of birth control. Also my rant is about "calling wolf" as in the aspect of constantly thinking you're that one person going to get pregnant just by things like kissing then insisting you are, you need a test and throw your guy, yourself and others through an emotion train wreck when you are obviously not the next virgin mary. *pats your shoulder sympathetically* I'm sorry she's still acting like that? sweatdrop And I agree, abortion isn't a type of birth control. Neither is the morning-after pill, but I would prefer people use it instead of letting it go and not using it at all, and then ending up pregnant. smile I just don't think it should be used specifically as a constant form of birth control. Yeah still acting like that, and now she went and got a boyfriend who doesn't seem that he will stick around if she does actually get pregnant. xp I don't think she's done it around him yet but she still has around her friends. Yeah that rant came because another friend of mine's step dad's daughter uses abortion as birth control, she's had like six and I heard yesterday she had another. stressed They're both screwed then. I sincerely hope she doesn't get pregnant. eek And as for that girl who's using abortions as birth control... I personally think that that's disgusting, and shows such irresponsibility and just... argh I don't know. She ticks me off though. scream Does her step dad know she's had that many abortions? Yeah me too. Yeah he does, he even pays for them. It's horrible. The girl is like 26 too, she should have at least some responsiblity by now.

Yeah I know, I've only met her once and I don't think she's all there upstairs anyway, I think because she may be on some heavy drugs. Which one I don't know, I just know what my friend has said. This whole thing causes a big fight in the family because my friend and her mother are very anti abortion and the daughter isn't, I don't think the step dad cares either way.

Nikolita Stupid woman, poor family. sad Agreed. My friend hates being at home because of all of the drama this has brought up. She's been staying at her dad's the past week since this whole thing started.

Topaz_Rising_Flame My rant.... Teens who TRY and get pregnant! One of my friends decided that she wanted a baby (at only 15), so she went off her birth control, and got preggers. She is something like 29 weeks now... and thinks that everything is going to be given to her for free. Its expensive!! I havent had my baby yet and im already in debt trying to get everything that i need. (my baby wasnt planned by the way, but i still love him to bits) I also have a friend who wants to get pregnant, I think she is nuts. what really makes me mad is she is putting her decision on my head she is like you are so lucky your baby is so cute. Its like don't you get it, babies require work to take care of them. Being cute and soft is a perk but not the whole package, and i think people who try to get pregnant at a young age end up being the people who screw up their kids. I wasnt expecting my son but, I changed my life for him and I love him. PS - good luck with your baby. Look for my mommy daddy thread on here and we can chat and I can help you if you need it.

I dont agree with people who use abortion as an easy out, I had a friend who was 23 and financially stable she got an abortion because "she didnt want to give up weed or casual sex" wtf

The percantage of people who get abortions for lame reasons is ridiculously low, I don't know why everyone's always up in arms about it.

Lame? How so? Nothing makes more sense than to NOT HAVE A BABY when you're NOT READY.
Do we really need more crackwhore moms? Or moms who push their children onto their parents? Or who abandon their babies? Sure.
That's not a lame excuse. Lame is abortion because they want to do weed, or have casual sex. Lame isn't because they're not ready to have children.

If I were to get pregnant now, I'd abort. Why?
Because I'm not ready.
Not because I want to "go out and party". It's because I want to finish my education and get a decent job before even thinking about bringing something into this world.
And who says all those girls get it because they "want to party"? That's so much bullshit wrapped into one little sentence it makes me want to vomit.
