Actually, rather than remove the cross couldn't he simply add definition to it and use it to fine-tune his array? ^^;; An array so vague would be dangerous, but if he were to change the symbols to define a single and exact use for it then it could be alot safer. A cross is used in alchemy to specify an element (which is why I found it humorous he claims to have used the cross to represent the elements whee ). A cross with a triangle above it and little v thing beside it, for isntance, is sulfur 3nodding I've heard that the sulfur symbol can be weakened by removing the v beside it (leaving just a cross with a triangle above it)
I did a little studying in alchemic arrays whee I wouldn't consider myself knowledgable enough to make one yet, though. I'm afraid I'd blow up the house sweatdrop
