tashasan I root for Clois, just because they're destined to end up together. I mean, every time he's with some other girl, I find it pointless. Lois is the Clark love interest. I don't know what's going to happen in Smallville, but I know that they're eventually going to be together. even though we the audiance know that Lois and Clark are "meant" to be together. As far as the Characters on Smallville are, the only thing Lois and Clark see them selves together in is fights. Just because Lois and Clark are together in every other superman story told, doesn't neccesarilly mean Lois and Clark are going to be together on the show. I mean common. Clark isn't superman, hasn't thought of becoming superman, ins't working for the daily planet, Lois isn't even that interested in journalism let alone a job in the Daily Planet. They are a long Long way from becoming the characters we have Watched, Read, and loved. And no, Lois isn't Clark's only love interest. Clark did Love other girls before his infactuation with Lois. You have to go through many outfits before you find the perfect one.

so, anyone have any suspicions as to how Lois and Martha are gonna survive a potential plane crash? I'm pretty sure i haven't heard of any spoilers regarding this, so i think it's safe to discuss here.
I'd really like to see Clark getting out of the phantom zone and flying to the plane and helping them out. but i'm pretty sure that won't happen. we've been waiting for him to officially develop his flying ability for forever. it's a possibility, i guess, that it could finally kick in here, but i think they'll probably wait for something more significant to have it show up. anybody else w/ theories?

For some reason i think that Lionel is going to have something to do with their survival some how, if not Clark that is.

Well, if they did fly up, we all know how fast they could fly- so I'm sure they'd save them in time.

it wouldn;t be that hard for them to fly up and stop the plane. I just have this feeling that once again Clark is not going to be flying in Zod... call it a hunch

yeah, when he finally does fly, i think it's going to be this HUGE deal, and I do mean HUGE! And simply saving 2 people out of a plane just doesn't seem like it will cut it. I wonder if they may save his flying right up until the very very end of season 7. but they'd better show it! I will be very sad if i never get to see clark kent actually fly on his own, as himself, and on purpose.

yeah i think they are definatly waiting for the exact perfect moment for it... I'm still trying to predict but for some reason i can't bring my self to believe that it will be anytime soon

yeah, i don't quite get the whole "afraid of heights" thing b/c he used to get up on that windmill quite a bit, and he's definately "jumped" up very high distances (like onto the nuclear rocket aimed at Smallville). I think maybe he's really not afraid of heights as much as afraid of becoming bad (cuz when he's flown before, it's been b/c he was Kal-El, or under the influence of something, etc. so flying, for him, has very much signified a part of a bad personality. maybe he's afraid that flying will bring it out in him.) i dunno. or maybe he really is afraid of heights but we just only hear him talk about it instead of demonstrate it.
