Not exactly. sweatdrop The fighting Pokémon were trying to catch Psyduck because Psyduck keeps running away from his trainer (that spoiled girl). Ash thought that Psyduck was funny simply because he's a duck.

In the dubs, he sounds like a guy, yeah, sorta. But in the japanease version, he's like, "ladidadida! I'm a widdle girly-girl!"
