Fadia Stalyr rurica Fadia Stalyr I don't mean to sound rude or anything, but it seems to me that these days everyone is talking about moving to another country when something goes astray with our government...whatever happened to fighting it? Grouping together to make the politicians see the light? Personally, I'm mostly joking when I say I want to move to Canada, but for the people who are completly serious, I think it's just a matter that they've lost hope. It is important to fight the system, but sometimes it's so overwhelmingly conservative. It sure is hard to find hope sometimes. And THAT's why we have places like this! 3nodding Yeah ^__^ I just hope that my generation doesn't screw things up so bad. I hope my generation makes a difference :]

But my school is extremely open minded, all things considered. I had food thrown at me once for being gay, but everybody I talked to was appalled at that, rather then "well you deserve it" kind of thing. That makes me happy ^____^

Also I think that conservatives are wrong because if you are being conservative you are keeping things the same and by keeping things the same you will eventually end up repeating the mistakes of the past. Society can only advance and go further and leave the mistakes behind by making changes. That's my little beef on that subject.

However, I also believe that the meaning of certain political words like "Republican" and "liberal" can mean different things, depending on the time period. For example, my dad used to consider himself a Republican. Now, even though he hasn't changed is political opinions, he is considered a Democrat. It's pretty interresting.

I don't know.....But nobody ever made a move to stop it, I would yell at the kids but then I would get nacho cheese in the face... sweatdrop

It all ties into the whole Marriage Sanctity crap. I'll just adopt or something. So far they haven't made laws against being a gay parent.
