No, you know, I was totally wondering if they gave Kate shoes. Those steps looked like they were all slimey and gross...
You know, as much as I want to know what the other Losties are up to, I think this was the best way to go about this episode. It answers one of the two big questions. And staying with these three gives the whole episode a more closed off, isolated feeling. They'd lose that if they cut to the other Losties. It would almost have been better not to have flashbacks, even.
The very beginning was kind of awesome. Dude, the island is friggin yooge. It feels so tiny when we're just with the Losties.
I have to admit to cheering a little when Juliet sucker punched Jack. And I like Jack. But he was really crazy during his flashbacks.
Would those handcuffs really scratch up her wrists that bad, or did I miss a scene, or was their a scene that we'll get in flashbacks later?
I guessed they were at the zoo right from the moment Sawyer woke up at that cage. So this is the zoological research station, right? The Hydra. Fun. So are they gonna cut off heads until they reach critcial mass or something?
Okay, so we know: The Pearl, The Swan, The Arrow, and now The Hydra. And possibly, The Flame. And there's one more, right?

My guess to the suburbia is that the Dharma folks couldn't easily come and go from the Island o' Doom while working...so Hanso built them an on-site living area.
But I guess they must inject that stuff every 9 days, though, so they can be out and about and not hatched up.

There was one thing that kept bothering me though, when Sawyer asked how many bears there were... I really wanted to know! It wasn't plot crucial or anything, I just wanted to see how dumb or smart Sawyer was compared to the bears who got it in only 2 hours... I guess I just get stuck on trivial matters

Tsunuffy Would those handcuffs really scratch up her wrists that bad, or did I miss a scene, or was their a scene that we'll get in flashbacks later? I was talking to my friend about last night's episode, and she was like "OMFG DID BEN RAPE KATE?!?" and I was like "WHAT??!?!"
She though that Kate was raped by Ben because her wrists were all cut up and she had a "funny look in her eye" or something. rolleyes

I laughed so hard when Jack ran into that plexi glass.
And especially when he got up and saw the camera. I was positive there was someone on the other side of the camera laughing just as hard as me. I don't care if you are the others and you're scary as hell, that was funny.

I noticed something in the episode. The song Jack was listening in the car in his flashback, he was listening to a song which is the same song Sayid and Hurley were listening to when they were messing with that radio thing. Lol Ben a.k.a Benry ((Ben and Henry since it just sounds awsome)) is funny.

PunkRockPrincess91 I laughed so hard when Jack ran into that plexi glass. 1. That was bloody hillarious. Now, anyone remember the shark in the ocean with the Dharma logo printed on it? I bet this is where it came from (the Other's Hatch)

My parents listen to that stuff so when Hurley and Sayid were listening to it I knew that song. I think its called "moonlight Serenade"

Yeah, I caught the song things too.
Apparently the song's composer person or whatever dissappeared when flying in a plane to somewhere or other, too. So maybe that's why they like that song.
Haha, maybe the guy'll pop up on the island.

I bet this is where it came from (the Other's Hatch) I always thought that wasn't true, because in the disc 7, the special edition stuff, didn't the writers say that the Dharma logo on the shark was just a joke from the people on special effects? Well, maybe that was integrated into the show, who knows.

They may say it was a joke but i think they didn't think people would see it. I think it has to do with something, especailly now that they found an under water hatch.

Anyway, I actually quite liked this episode. It laid the foundation down. I'm already starting to like Juliet. I don't care if she's being fake-nice to Jack, I still like her. X3
I totally started screaming at the beginning, when we found out the Others live in an actual civilized town. D: Hey, didn't they say on the Swan Orientation Video that Dharma was investigating utopian social life, or something? Do you think there's a connection?

I like Juliet too. Actually i think her and Ben might have had a relationship. In the beginning of the episode shes listening to the music and it looked like she was about to cry. And Ben is out of the book club... i think there was something going on between them.
