He quickly pulled her soaking body to shore. "Hey eva you oka-...oh crap", he said as he shook her slightly and checked her breathing. He checked again not believing what was happening, he quickly tilted her head as all her first aid training came back to him. Oh crap,I hope she doesn't mind, but then again it's for her life so here goes nothing He quickly placed his lips ot her to deliver "the breath of life" as he quickly puffed in two breaths of air he quickly pulled back and placed his hands gingerly on her chest pushing down and repeating the process.

Eva's soul floated above them. Just as she thought about not wanting to be dead her heart beat and she was pulled back into her body. She sat up coughing up water and gasping for air. She was trembling in a state of shock and all she could do was cling to Kazuma, after all a water dwelling monster just did try to have her for supper, and she had just died and come back to life. After a while Eva let go of Kazuma and sat down. She felt horrible for everything that had happened, she just wanted to explore, something always went wrong. She leaned over and gave Kazuma a kiss on the cheek, and blushed.

He smiled and huggged her. "Good your alive that was clos wasn't it", he said. As he kissed her he felt himself turn red for a brief moment then he looked at her. "Thanks for the kiss, but I think we should get out of her that thing might come back after all", he said helping her up now.

They left the cavern the same way they got in, but there was something different about the tunnel, Eva could have sworn it wasn't the same tunnel. There were far too many twists and turns. Eva started to get nervous, the way out was not where she remembered it. As she walked along the tunnel she let her hand feel the cool damp wall. She stopped abruptly when she found some carvings on the wall...

Outside the cave she thinks "So this is the famous cave that shows amazing scenes if your with your love." She looks all around the cave. Then I finally decide to go inside even though alone and single. She looks down at the floor and sees a big thick stick. "Maybe I should light a fire on the stick and carry it around with me as I explore this cave." I get a small match from my tote bag and light the stick with it in my hand. After I start walking deeper into the cave looking at the walls.

Staring at the walls,she sees on the walls, animals walking up. Like to heaven or something. I walk further into the cave and sees on the wall carved " I love Queda." I think to myself "Love, if only I can experiance this feeling" I sigh. I walk further and sit on a rock. I feel a cool breeze coming from the entrance so I get my jacket from my waist and slips my arms in and zips up the jacket. "Ahhhh! Much better." Then I place the fire on the floor then puts my hands around the little fire.

Kai had no choice but to follow the rambunctous Alyssa. He had forgotten his staff and book back at the Green House and he was hoping that no one would steal them. When they reached the mysterious underwater cove, his brown eyes went even wider as he stared at it, "Whoa...This place...is beautiful!..." He looked at his new love curiously, "Umm...Why did you pick this spot?...Does it hold any sentimental value in your life?" The young healer smiled sweetly and walked next to Alyssa now, his hand still holding onto her's gently.

Alyssa nodded at Kai's remark, it really was a nice place to be. She flung her thick hair behind, letting the colored strands fly all around. Alyssa turned to him and shrugged softly. "I have never been here before..never thought I would come actually.." Alyssa said almost to herself, walking deeper into the cave.
The light soon drifted away into darkness, giving Alyssa a chance to take off her sunglasses. As she removed them, a small shining light came at an angle across her face. It didn't hit her in the eyes, but gave off enough to reveal everything she had hidden for so long. Alyssa had never dreamed of going somewhere like this...with someone like Kai. It was almost a dream come true; dreams are easily crushed though.
Alyssa crawled over to Kai and against his bare body, feeling the warmth of him. She smiled contently and ran her long, delicate nails down his arm sensually. Alyssa looked up at Kai with a soft smile before bringing her lips to his.

Kai smiled slightly and was about to say something but it was cut off by Alyssa's kiss. He eagerly kissed back and his brown eyes slowly closed. He leaned back and when he felt the cold stone against his bare back, he wrapped his arms around his love's waist. The healer would have probably never have found this place in his lifetime...He had never been with another girl before...So having lover's places around really wasn't a good thing for his self-esteem. But now that he had someone he cared for greatly, he could actually use those places to his advantage. Kai shivered slightly when Alyssa touched his arm and repaid the favor when he started to gently massage the girl's back. His hands started glowing and a warming light surrounded them both, causing them to be able to keep kissing and to remain feeling the love for each other. Kai had learned that trick long ago but he really had no purpose for it...It was only for lovers.

Alyssa moved her hand up to his neck and ran an index finger over the place where her two puncture marks were before healed by Kai. For some reason, Alyssa wanted to feel the holes within his neck and the blood dripping down onto her own body. This is when it hit Alyssa harder than ever; she couldn't love him.
She pulled away swiftly and looked at her lover with a passion she had never had with anyone before. Her eyes soon revealed that she was upset about something, deep down she knew that Kai had to know.."Kai..I-I don't..think I can be with you..." Alyssa closed her eyes tightly, fighting the urge to let large saltwater tears fall down her cheeks.
She took a deep, choking breath before continuing on, "It's not you and it never will be..it's just...me being part vampress..my loyalty..my lust.." Alyssa would die before she finished that sentence. She wanted to be with Kai so badly it made her body ache, but what could she do. Alyssa placed a hand on his cheek and smiled shakily. "I don't want to hurt you..."

Kai kissed Alyssa's lips slowly and gently. When he pulled away, there was an innocent and sweet smile on his face. His slender hand came up and gently moved some hair out of the girl's eyes. His voice was low and calming, "Don't worry, Alyssa...I'll be fine...I can heal myself...Both physically and mentally...So please don't worry about me...Ok?...I...want to be with you, Alyssa..." The healer turned a bright red as his brown eyes wandered down to the ground, "And...I am a healer...Healers usually don't fall in love...But...I think I have fallen in love...With you, Alyssa..." His body fell all the way back against the stone wall as he waited for his lover's response. He had a feeling that it was going to be a negative one...but there was a slight glimmer of a chance that it would be positive...It was whether or not Alyssa felt the same way for Kai as Kai felt for her.

Alyssa didn't know how to respond to Kai, all she did was look down at the rocky floor beneath her. True, she did like Kai. Saying 'I love you' though didn't come to Alyssa as easily as it did humans. She didn't say it and not mean it...she couldn't decide within herself whether she did or not.
Alyssa kept silent, unable to decide until the words just sort of came into her head. "Kai...I-I..." Alyssa couldn't finish, she wasn't ready to say it. Kai, please don't give up hope..I'm just..not ready to say it... Alyssa's voice echoed in the boy's head with a saddened tone. She didn't want to say it just yet; Alyssa was afraid they would break off and her words would mean nothing. Hopefully Kai would understand and not be upset for her reasoning; it was just to soon for her.

Kai laughed slightly and hugged Alyssa tightly. He whispered into the girl's ear, "Don't worry about it...I have found out that you don't have to say those three little words in order to love somebody...I have had many crushes on girls but I have never told them that I love them...Because...Truth is...I was a foolish little kid who fell for any girl that was beautiful...But now...Now that I'm older and know that I want to settle down with someone...I...think I found that beautiful girl..." Even though he was incredibly embarassed, the healer kept hugging Alyssa. He really wasn't ready himself to tell her that he loves her...Even though he knew he did...It was just too early...His heart has been broken countless times in the past by a variety of people...But none of them loved him back...But he had a different feeling about Alyssa...So he made a vow to himself to not let her get away...

Alyssa nestled into Kai's arms like a baby bird. 'Thank you..' She pulled her arms up to her own chest as if looking to be secured by Kai. Alyssa kissed his chest gently and burried her face into him; content that it was he who was holding her.
In all honesty, Alyssa didn't love Kai; not yet at least. When Alyssa fell she fell hard, and having done this many of times, she had her heartbroken quite a few times. Alyssa had made a vow to herself a few years ago that she would never love another; it was too much for her to bare.
Kai...was different...he wouldn't let Alyssa go that easily. It looked as if he would fight for her love forever, making Alyssa's insides do a major backflip. She placed a soft hand on Kai's cheek and smiled passionately.

Kai laughed slightly and gently placed his hand on Alyssa's hand, rubbing it gently. His big brown eyes gazed into the girl's eyes, staying there. His face lost its redness as it returned back to its pale, not even close to tanned, self. The healer wasn't sure what to do now...He had never expected to make it this far with a girl...So this entire experience was new to him. Kai's heart started racing as he felt the thing that so many people called...romance. He was completely lost but it felt good...Feeling the warmth of another person so close to you that you almost become one...It was perfect...
((lol ok ^_^ I should really go finish homework right now o_o;; ))
