Hello, I'm Ferris.
I first read about Interpol in NME a while back and thought they had amazing fashion sense. Then my mom saw my magazine cover and said
"I think I know that guy" *points to Carlos*".
I was like "Mom, that's Carlos D."
And she said "Oh, then I DO know that guy."
((He's gone to the doctor's office she works for a few times
True story.))
Anyways, after that, I becamse obsessed with them and ran out to buy TOTBL ((by far their best album and I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks so)) and loved them ever since. To me, they represent the best things about New York and the NYC music scene.

Hi, my name is Christy aka the Critter
I'm obsessed with the band. In fact I just finished writing a six page personal essay for my Writing class on them. I've haven't been a fan as long as some others (I only discovered them in 2005), but I've put in my legwork to make up for it. TOTBL is my favorite album by them and my favorite album of all time. It's really thanks to SPIN magazine that I discovered them and Matador included a sampler CD with "Evil" on it. So yeah. I also write, play the bass, etc.

Hello, I'm Lauren. I discovered Interpol about a year ago when I randomly had their song "NYC" downloaded on to my computer. So I listened to it, and I really liked the song. Then I saw Antics at the CD store so I bought it on a whim, and I listened to both albums and fell immediately in love. Amazing band.

My mom didn't even know he was in Interpol. She said he was a bassist but she didn't figure the band would get big. She says he was always really shy and would sit in the corner of the waiting room and wear really skinny ties. She once accused me of stealing his file, which I didn't do... ninja
I did? Huzzah!
But it's true. It's my hometown and I feel they represent it perfectly.

I'm really not sure what to say.. so i'll just say a bunch of random facts about myself:
I'm Melissa [most call me Mel.]
I'm a junior in Highschool.
I work at subway
Dont laugh, but I write poetry.
My dads side of the family is from NYC. I wish I was from NYC, but I'm a military kid. stare
Other than interpol, I like The Blood Brothers, The Birthday Massacre, At The Drive-In, Fear Before The March Of Flames, She wants revenge, & a lot more i'm too busy to type it all out.
I'm 16
Me & my best friend became friends because she saw me reading an article about interpol
Carlos D made me wanna become a bass player..
..But I ultimately decided I liked guitar better haha.

What happened was I was taking the L train back to Brooklyn
and he was on the other side, taking it downtown. It had to be him-
he had the 'stache and incredible fashion sense and he was
tall and skinny and had the hair!

Just the other day I was thinking how wicked it would be to see one of them in the subway.
And then I imagined seeing Mr. D. on the other side and me trying to find a way there before his train comes just to say hi. xD
I went there on vacation a few months ago. :3 Maybe I'll go there for my winter vacation? I'll ask my mom. xD We can meet up and be all like, "Yo'. We pimpin'. :0"
