I actually chose to start the piano (age 5) I have since regreted my decision but I'm signed to a 10-year contract with my parents. However only about 5 out of 30 students at my piano recital are Asian. Maybe it's because I take from a Caucasian teacher.

I don't play the piano. Heck, I don't even play an instrument!
I always wonder why my parents are willing to keep a piano in our house even if no one plays it confused .

My mom inscited me to take piano lessons and I always refused. "It's good for you." "What's so good about playing piano anyways?" "... It's just good for you" ... The ULTAMITE answer my mom gave me. Other times, she have told me that people will have a better judgement on me. rolleyes It feels so right Tonight…

Steretype 45: If you don't have a piano in your house you're not Asian. ninja or any other musical instrument. >_>;; *has about 4 instruments in house.*

i play piano not because my parents made me but i wanted to. But asian parents do encourage kids to take up an instrument, they just expect alot from us. Heck i know like 5 instruments.
