i do but jeter and A-rod are the best and A-rod is the best player in the league right now even if he's having a bad year. he'll be back next year and win mvp again and kick a**

i think you contradicted yourself: how is A-Rod the best in the league right now if he´s having a bad year? besides, A-Rod is not clutch. this year, with a runner on third and less than two outs, he only gets a runner home 38.9% if the time, a stat that is ranked 130th among 135 players (with at least 20 opportunities) in the Majors. i admit that he is an awesome player who can do it all, but he is not the best in the MLB.

Yay! Another person who fully believes in stats! biggrin Anyway, I do believe that A-Rod used to be on the top of the league, but he just collapsed under pressure this year. 20 errors? Even if he's not playing in his normal position, that's a lot of errors. It's the second most in the AL and 5th most in the Majors. His .933 fielding percentage is the worst in the Majors as well. A-Rod just isn't the player he used to be.

In regard to the Pujols question, I'm a Cardinals fan. I think that answers that. I thought he'd reach 60, if not 70 HRs before he got injured. He'll get back in his groove soon, even though he's been struggling recently. Pujols likes to turn it up a notch in the last 50 games of the season.

well your going to have to wait next year because pujols wont be having the year he was supposed to have. and why the hell do u guys say that A-rod aint the player he used to be. I mean if it werent for the fans in New York(no offence because i'm a new york fan) but all that pressure is killing him. If the fans wouldnt be booing him, man i dont know who would be better then him, because you have to admit when he's normal he is the best out there, He's just monster. Just wait till next year. He will have a big one.

of course Pujols won´t have the year he was supposed to have, but he will still be better than A-Rod. Pujols is one of those guys who is very consistent and gets better every year. he has youth, power, great defense, batting average, and he was very healthy up until this year. no doubt he will reach 50 HR´s, at least 45. and by the way Cloud Strife, think of the pressure he is getting in St. Louis, where he is the biggest thing in like 5 years. anybody who plays in NY is under pressure but it´s also their choice, and A-Rod chose that when he signed that gazillion-dollar contract. what my point is that A-Rod is great, but he is not the best.

i'm just saying pujols is the best now but if u compare a rods texas years and pujols years A-rod is the best its just like i said the pressure in St. Louis is nothing compared to A-rods in New York
