I'd ask them about it. I don't know what they'd feel about being asked about it but I know I wouldn't be mad or anything. And besides, you already agreed on it. They should at least have the common courtesy to say whether or not they'll draw it.
at least that's what I think...

I would definitely message them. And I'd do it again a 3 or 4 days later if they still hadn't replied. Just be honest. If you're not mad, just be polite and ask what's up, if they plan on drawing for you or not, that you understand how busy people can be, etc. If you ARE mad, um... still try to be polite I think sweatdrop but add more urgency to the word choices and include the fact that it's been 2 weeks, you help up your end of the deal, so you expect them to uphold theirs. I'd even ask for an Estimated completion time so that if that time comes and goes, and still no art, you have EVERY right to ask them "WTF? O_O" heh heh
That's what I'd probably do anyway... ninja

For future reference: Do not give them the art until they send the gold or whatever they were doing for you. Inform them that it is done but do not let them see it.

I'm not really that mad or anything...
but the only thing that bugs me is if they weren't planning to do it at all.. they should've just told me first...
anyways, whee
they were only stupid sketches anyways..
didn't take me more than 10 minutes.. like the plushie ones I have on this thread..
but I'll keep that for future reference for commissions rivayn heart

There is always the possiblity that they were trying to get some free art (not that its hard to do). I don't really get commissions or art trades much, but when I do, I make a policy to tell them that its done, but not release the work until they release theirs to me.

KingRoach They look very cute especially with the sketchiness of the hand work. But I don't know.... Seeing too much of the same style/COLOR is like... I know I know.. I have an obssesion with blue.. sweatdrop and I hate working with red.. red always looks funny to me.. like it's not red enough.. too orangy.. besides, this is just a plushified thread sweatdrop one style only >___>
