Fargon was also caught off guard by Horen's sudden appearance and remained silent during the whole exchange. But he paced back and forth from wall to wall in their new stay. He looked at Arisole, Let me guess Ari. you got dragged into something you really had no choice in. He had recognized her when they had taken their very short trip to the Mt. He also didn't miss the look between Horen and K'lant. Then looked at Hawk, "They were old rivals weren't they?"
((Skie can I have Hawk's role? You don't have to tell me the real purpose of his character. I just have some ideas.))
PostPosted: Tue Feb 27, 2007 10:10 am

((You may have it Fargon. But only you. You can't pass it on to anyone else. Only have that ability. For this character anyway. Besides I have to go in a few anyway.))

Hawk nodded, "Very old rivals. They had never got to finish their last duel." Hawk looked over at Arisole then to Fargon who still paced, then went over to a chair and took a seat.

((Thanks Skie))

Fargon wandered back and forth, then realizing that he didn't get anywhere by doing so, he also went over to a chair opposite of Hawk and took a seat. "So what now?"
"We watch what we say. We can't talk about anything here, the walls have ears. But about the item that Psiabel searches for. Is there anyone here in this room that knows anything about it?!" There was frustration and anger in his voice. "Easy Hawk. Don't want to hurt yourself. Or any of us for that matter. But like I said, I don't know anything about it. All I know is that it exists and that it must be found and destroyed before anyone of evil can get their hands on it." He leaned back in the chair and dwelt down deep into his thoughts.

Arisole didn't like all this jerking around of the locations. But she really didn't have a choice. "I heard, and mind you I only know what I've heard. But there's word that the item has some kind of mind control power." She saw them look at her. "Though I'm not sure if its true but its quite possible. But what type of mind control..." She shrugged. Then looked over at Fargon, "Yes I have been dragged into this, but after hearing why I give my service willingly."

"You are only as strong as long as you withstand the darkness weakening you, this island has no light and all you can do is use your own power as a shield from the darkness, but that's why I'm going to make you use every last drop of it, until you're consumed by the darkness and lost" He roared and slashed his slaws rapidly at Lloyd, pushing them both back as the deflected each other's attacks

"You forget one thing, I control both" His claws surged with light and dark energy, one orb of each element forming forming in his claws "Even if light may fail the darkness cannot consume me, I'm taking down this place along with you and the item!" He pushed the two orbs close together, they negative energy from being opposites started to affect and energy surged out at random location of the two orbs, but they faded before he could finish and you his attack, along with his gold scales "Damn not now..." He unsheathed his dual swords and positioned in an attack form "It's not over yet" Heh, Deja vu, it's just like facing that demoness who turned me into that thing standing across from me

"What can a human do to defeat a dragon" He slashed his claws again, but with no effort with Lloyd's swords deflecting them still "Fine then I'll just have to burn you to ashes, Psiabel would probably have killed you when she came here anyway" His mouth releases more dark flames, heading straight for Lloyd

Hawk took a few deep breaths. "Everyone get up, Horen is coming." As they all stood up Horen's servant opened the door. "Come with me." Then Horen turned and everyone followed him up a hallway that seemed to be sloping upwards. Then they were going up winding stairs that had no railings to hang on to. "I see that no railings have been added." "Yes and it seems that's how the master likes it. We lose more servants these days because of it." He shrugged it off, "More food for those at the bottom." Hawk cringed, "So the ratbugs are still down there. Thought they would have been extinct by now what with all the years that have passed by." Horen stopped and turned to face him, "Like you should be extinct Hawk?" He waited for a response, but when he got none turned back and began walking again til they arrived to a large platform and in front of him were large obsidian doors. Hawk looked up infinately to the unseen ceiling. Ten giants can stand on each others shoulders creating a tower of giants, and yet they still wouldn't be able to touch the ceiling. But he knew that Thell would, that's just how tall, and big, the dragon was. He turned his attention back to the doors that opened silently and they all entered through them." Thell brought his head down to look at Hawk, his red eyes glowing brightly. His voice shook the whole room as he spoke, "You haven't changed one bit since I last saw you Hawk. So then you had made a deal with the dark goddess to give you immortality?" Hawk shook his head, "No Master," He bowed down on one knee and looked down at the ground, "You forget, Master, I am from another world, far far from Dranen. On that world we love far much longer than the humans do on this world." Thell nodded in understanding, "Ah yes, so that is true. All this planning for world domination, destruction, and so on, can cloud one's memory. As you would know." He looked at Arisole, "This creature what side is she on?" Hawk looked over at the unicorn, "She is on all sides, yet she is on none Master." Thell moved so that he stood before Arisole, "So you are of the neutral state hmm?" He caught Hawk's thoughts, "No?" He moved away from them, "The why were you at the counsil grounds on the mainland?" Arisole held her ground in front of the great dragon. "Because it is obvious who will win this new war, Master. If I may call you that?" Thell bowed his head. Then motioned for silence and turned to Horen. "Horen go get us some drinks and something for them to sit in." Horen bowed his head and left them, shortly to come back with many servants carrying food and drink and cushions for them to sit. Once everything was in order the servants left. Horen went to his Masters' side and remained there. Hawk made sure that Fargon and Kalagath were seated on a couch and sat down next to them. Then motioned for Arisole to sit on a large cusion across from them. When she was situated they all looked back to Thell. "You may call me that Arisole, continue." Arisole did just that, "I could sense darkness heading towards the mountain and arrived there before it. I have been working in a temple of Sybian's for something to do, since there was no darkness in the world. And to do wrong would cost greatly. However word of Psiabel arriving back to the world to retrieve an item, and I began to look forward to her arrival. Finally there would be some action in this world. But then there were terrified stories of one of Psiabels sons, one that had overpowered her and nearly succeded in taking this world. As I worked more in the temple and began to do errands for the goddess I heard more of your plans Master. Or actually they were more of suspicions. Such as you starting where you had left off when you left this world. More and more rumors flew as the days passed. And the more I heard of Psiabels return and of your magnificence I knew that I must decide. Sybian knew of my thoughts of course, she wanted me, urged me to join good. But why should I? Being good the whole time was boring. I wanted some action, I want to serve someone who has no fear, who has all power, and would never turn the world into the boring slum that it now is." She stopped to take a drink of water then continued. "But you Master, you bring fear into all of those that I knew on the mainland. Fear of Psiabel was there too, but it was more of fear for you. And I have decided to join. Sybian tried to do everything in her power and orderd me to the Mountain, and her having so many things to do at once, she did not notice or sense the darkness heading there. So there I was sent, and a while later there I met with Horen and these three that accompanied him." She stopped to take a breath then took another sip of water. "And that, Master, is my story." "Horen, what was the scene when you arrived at the mountain?" Horen turned to his master, "Master, K'lant who is an ancient dragon, and has been named council leader threw her at us and had wanted nothing to do with her." He turned to Hawk, "Hawk was planning to come here to retrieve her. I suppose I had made her wait short." "Hawk how did you know of her?" "Like most of us who sense things before they even happened I sensed her presence, and her wanting to be with us. Us who worship you Master and follow you." Thell pondered over this for awhile. He turned around and went to the back of the room and sat down on the great cushion where he slept, and watched over the pitiful world. There he sat now for many minutes. Then he stood up and came back to his place before them. Then looked at Arisole and swept through her mind and found everything she had told him was true. Then he turned to Hawk and did the same, finding the same, then to Fargon and Kalagath. He felt something strange coming from the last two, but it was something special and he knew that he must keep them close to him. But what he did not know was that what he really sensed were the gods that were against him hiding the truth from his probing mind. But that thought never came to Thell's mind. He spoke again, startling all of those, including Horen, out of their own thoughts. "Horen I want you to take Hawk, and Farse and his Draak, along with Arisole, and fill them in on the plans. Also arrange for them their own rooms for privacy, but do put them in rooms that are next to each other." There was a slight pause, and Thell looked over at Hawk, "Hawk I want you to take these three," He motioned with his clawed fore paw over Arisole, Fargon and his Draak. "Under your deformed wing." Thell waited for anything else that might come up, then he looked over at Fargon, "Farse what is your Draak's name?" Kalagath drew himself straight and looked straight at Thell without fear, of which he had none anyway. "My name is Kag." "A Draak that talks." He looked suspiciously at him, "No Draak speaks." Before anyone could speak up for him, or think of doing so, he got to it first. "Master, I am from the mainland. And us Draaks are more developed there than here on the islands. In order for us to live and remain on the mainland we had to mix with the smaller dragons, flying lizzards as the mainlanders called them. Therefore our talking and other un-draak like traits come from them. However if we have a master that catches us it is the same as it is here Master. We are forever in their service and do as they wish." Kalagath spoke mostly the truth, there were Draaks on the mainland, and many years ago their numbers were dwindling. So in desperate measures they had mated with the smaller pocketsized dragons of the mainlands. In fact Kalagath had some Draak blood flowing through him, though a small about that it was. But thanks to that small blood portion he knew that if Thell wanted to test him by searching his mind he would find the truth. And Kalagath could dig into the Draak part of him and find out what they were like. Thell was surprised by this. And he did just what Kalagath would expect him to do and searched him. "So it is true. You have Draak blood in you." He searched around, "I must get back to my planning. Horen!" Horen turned so that he faced Thell, "Yes Master?" "Take them and do as I have ordered!" Thell turned his back to them and went into the darkness at the back of the room and through the wall to a secret chamber.

Horen waited til he was sure that there was nothing else his Master wished to say then turned a beckoned them to follow. He led them out the doors, which closed behind them, and back down the stairs. When they were halfway down Horen turned and a door appeared from nowhere and he opened it and entered til they were inside. There was a map of the entirety of Skull Island laid out on a huge table, there was another table similar to it on the other side of the room, only this was larger and held the most of the mainland on it. But Horen continued til they entered a different room. "Hawk I believe you have never been in this room. It's new and the map of the whole world lay on the floor. This way." He walked up some stairs and motioned them to look down. "Hawk looked down at the floor, "Dear gods! It's huge!!!!" The floor was a map of the whole of the world. And he had never seen anything like it. "It would take years to do this by hand." He looked at Horen. Horen looked at him, "What do you think we have been doing all those years Thell had been imprisoned in the underworld, besides of devising a plan to get him out of course." He walked around to the other side of the room, "It took great artists and steady hands to design this." He took a pointing stick from the wall and pointed to the map that had many lights that lit up. "All these lights are of our troops. As you can see they are scattered everywhere." He paused as he moved positions, "But they are like that for good reason. Mostly so the gods have several problems to look at all at once." Kalagath caught on quickly, "This isn't the army, just lacky's of the armies that have agreed to risk their lives to make divursions to distract all those who plan to send Thell back." He paused and noticed the lack of numbered of lights. "But why are there so few groups scattered around?" Horen gave a slight smile, but it soon disappeared. "There were more." He saw Kags' expression, "After we had learned of Psiabel closing in on this world we brought half of the number back to train for war. With everyone's eyes on that pathetic goddess there would be no reason to have our troops out there with nothing to do." "And I suppose with news of Psiabels arrival gave you an answer as to why no one was paying attention to the troops?" "Exactly." He moved back so that he stood beside them again, "Now Hawk your task is to make sure the troops that are being recruited and trained on the mainland are being done so properly. Also to spy on the goodie goodies troops. Thell wants any new information on his pathetic mother." He saw their looks, "I'm putting it the way Master had put it." Then he watched as they shrugged it off. "And it seems fortunately for you you have some aides to help you in this task." Horen walked towards the door they had entered and waited til they all had passed through to the room they were previously in, and shut the door behind him. "Go to the stairs. I will personally show you to your quarters." They went to the stairs and he shut the door behind him and it disappeared behind him. Kag looked back at where the door had been, "I'm confused about the door." Hawk looked over at him, "The door appears to those that know where to find it." He noticed that Kag was still confused, Hawk sighed, "The door is magic and can show up anywhere in the tower. You can be in a hallway on the otherside of where we are and there are certain places where you can place your hand and it will appear. But you need to be able to know where those places are, otherwise you won't be able to enter inside." Arisole saw that Kag was still confused. And she thought, looked over at Horen, who was busy within his own thoughts, and handing out orders telling servants to prepare their rooms. They were now in the hallway where they could talk and stand next to each other. So she stopped and waited til Fargon was beside her, since Kag was sitting on his shoulder. "Kag, think of it this way." She thought for a moment, "You know of the hidden caves where your kind stays?" She watched as he nodded, "Well the entrances change to strangers, hunters, or whatever causing confusion and not being able to find the right entrance to hunt your kind yes?" Again Kag had nodded, "Well the door is the same. It hides from those that would use the information inside of it against its Master, which would be Thell. Now there are certain places, like a type of hand held that you could place your hand." She stopped and looked at herself, then at Kag, "Or in our case something hand-like, in a certain hand-hold that only the keepers of the tower know yes?" She paused til Kag nodded, then continued, "And only those that are close to Ranks and Thell would know of such places, such as Horen and Hawk for instance. And like the door these places blend in with the wall and would not be seen by untrained eyes yes?" Again a few moments then Kag nodded. Kag had nodded then his eyes widdened and he understood. "I understand now how it works." He looked at Arisole. "My thanks for doing your best to break it down for me." Arisole nodded her welcomes, "I must admit though I wasn't sure what it was I was speaking of myself. And did my best not to make it even more confusing than it already was. But I'm glad that you understand now, and I can stop trying to explain it." "I suppose that's how things work, you understand something that someone else does not. Then you try your best to break it down for them. Then you get yourself confused and they understand it." Kalagath shrugged, "It's screwed up, and yet not." Fargon was silent the entire trip. He didn't feel like talking anyway, and he listened to everyones story. The only thing that had amazed him was the map room. He went to the protected part of his mind. Kalagath, I can see that we can trust Hawk. But what about his Arisole? Kalagath waited a few moments, and it seemed that Arisole didn't want to talk anymore, in fact she looked a bit tired. Then he turned his attention to Fargon, and entered the safe part of his mind. She is like the strange woman in the City of Light, whom was Madi. This is Arisole, she has her own will, but she can make things true. She does work under Sybian and had been ordered to go to the mountain and such. Now it was Fargons turn to be confused. What? Kalagath sighed. I will tell you so much, but anything else you must find out on your own. In fact I have a better idea. Kag left Fargons protected mind and entered Arisole's protected mind. Arisole can you explain something to my friend here. He's curious whether to trust you or not. Arisole entered Fargon's mind through Kag's, So much explaining to do. Fargon, everything I told Thell, in a twisted way, was true. Have you ever heard of someone twisting the truth? Bending it in ways, yet never breaking it? Fargon was surprised by her sudden voice, but it soon faded as she began to speak. Yes I have heard it. Then take what you've heard and piece it together like you did with Madi. And I will give you a little mind nudge....wait. She stopped because everyone else had stopped. Horen opened a door into a large suite. "This is the common room. Your own seperate rooms break off, so that you can have your own privacy, yet be able to find each other with no problem. Now I must attend to some errands that I have had to dismiss lately and must be attended to. You have the rest of this day and all of days to do what you have been ordered. And these rooms were assigned to you only. So if you leave for several week then return these rooms will remain here for you." And with that he left closing the door behind him. "Alright everyone lets take a seat." Everyone sat down. We shall continue in this. Arisole, Fargon please continue. Fargon closed his eyes and remembered all of the story. Closing his eyes helped him remember, but he didn't know why. And he began to piece it together. And to his surprise he didn't get very many nudges. Once he had it all pieced together he muttered it, but in his mind. Arisole, you do work under Sybian and you are her runner from realm to realm temple to temple and so forth. You had been brought into something that you truly had no interest in until you heard the full story from the other gods and were sent to Dragon Fang. Where a few moments later you joined us. He opened his eyes and looked around at everyone. "That is too much for me in one day." He stood up and walked towards a room, "I'm going to bed." Then left. Everyone else decided that it was time to rest and seperated each going to their seperate rooms.

((I would like to give my appologies to dragontalons20, ferret_aiko_arin, arya_silveea, and Fargon Fallin for taking over your characters. But something had to be done and its taking forever since some of you don't seem to be getting on much. Ah man now my hands really are killing me.))

Star walked into the room several hours later, that fargon and everyone else were all in. "Hmm their asleep already hmm?" She went over to one of the couches and took a seat. She will wait til they had had their rest.

Fargon woke up and walked out his door to find someone in the common room suite. He stared at her for a moment until his eyes went from blurry to focused, "Star? What the....How'd the hell did you get here?"

She explained immediatly. "It didn't take long for me to explain my story to Thell and Horen. Of course they were convinced after I had told them I was from the Chaos realm." She looked at him, "Course then I had just saw Thell a few moments after all of you had left his presence. I also said that I knew you and Hawk." She held her hand up to stop any questions that were about to come from Fargon, "Now lets wait til everyone else wakes up on their own instead of waking them up with our talking."

Fargon sat down on the chair across from her.

After a few more hours Hawk came out and looked at Star for awhile. Then went over and sat next to Fargon. Fargon turned his head to watch as Hawk had entered the room and sit next to him. Arisole came out of her room and she walked over to stand near Star. And she watched as Kalagath flew out from his little den and landed on Star's shoulder. Fargon looked at Star, "Alright everyone is here." He waited, but instead Hawk spoke. "I see that Thell remembers your race." But that was all that he had sad. He felt uncomfortable around her kind.

Star sensed Hawks uneasyness, but dismissed it as unimportant. "Yes I did. I am his seeker and I am to accompany him." She pointed at Fargon, "Where-ever he goes." She thought of that time when everyone needs their "alone" time to do their business, and added, "Almost everywhere."

Arisole had caught the expression that lasted only a second when Star added the last part. And having an idea as to what she meant, Arisole smirked. "Well isn't that dainty. Let's get back to business." She looked at Hawk. "Where do we start?"

His face was expressionless, and his tone flat. "We go back to the mainland." He filled her in on what they were to do, and when he finished there was a slight pause so as to let everyone run it over in their minds. Then he continued, "I plan on us leaving today, or in a few moments." He looked at Star, "Unless there was something else?"

((That helps.))

Star shook her head, "I am ready to go." She stood up and walked to the door, then opened it. Outside stood a servant nearly fast asleep, she touched him with a finger and he startled awake. "Tell Thell that we plan to leave in a few moments." The servant bowed, then left. Star turned to look at them. "Let's go. Servants and the other residents have their ways of getting hold of us. And we aren't leaving til Thell gives us full permission to." She walked out the door.

((Skie you can take Star for the day if you want.))
