I remember my first sparring match with my head master... I was a yellow belt. I used to spar my best friend before I started taking official lessons and he was already a black belt which meant that any and everyone I sparred at my rank got beaten down xd .
Anyway, my head master kept telling me to teach not torture, but I was a fan of they must learn the hard way or they won't learn it right!(Still am but I'm more careful with it in teaching. He could see that I was not going to take it easy on the students with less years in sparring than me so one day after a sparring class he called me up and said if I could hit my opponent in my next match then he would send me with his Wisconsin tournament team. Needless to say I was excited... afterall, this team was reserved for the best sparrers in the do jang and you were never considered until your at least a blue belt. Then he told me I was sparring him... it went a little something like this.
"Ready?"
"Yes sir!" Floor.... up... floor... up...backwards.... I never hit him. crying I went home completely battered. I hated it... I don't run down people of less exprience anymore.

lol, I remember this one sparring match, mostly cause I have it on tape, and because it was my birthday that same day, but anyways. It was about 2 months before I went for my second dan, so I was really training hard at the time, it was a small tourny, lol I was the highest belt there, or atleast the oldest/highest, this guy was bigger, weighted about 15-20lbs more then me, I think he was brought in just so I'd have someone to fight, but when the match started he charged in I did a counter 45 then two consecutive counter back kicks, the second one got him straight in the gut(and we were wearing sparring gear of course) he stopped attacking so I was just aout to move in when he started to hold his stomach and bend over, lol good mintue break there, tears in the guys eye for the rest of the match, which later that match I used a cresent kick when I was close in brought his head basically to the ground, he tried to just lean sideways out of the way, but my foot followed. that was a fun sparring match, mostly cause I really kicked his a**.

The first time that I really got my a** handed to me was when i asked my senseis if I could sparr with them. I was one of the better white belts and I didn't like going easy on them. They noticed that I showed almost no mercy when it came to kote gaeshi techniques(if you're in Aikido this art means pain!) and the other white belts didn't go all out when they did it.
Long story short- my wrist was twisted so bad at one point I thought it was dislocated. I didn't stop attacking, so it was eventually popped back into place. Moral: kote gaeshi is fun, unless you're on the receiving end.

well this happen a month ago so it's not new. Well I was sparing for my yellow belt I had to fight Marty xp xp So when we started he went in to crane stands. I thought he was playing and was not going to hit me with that (he was making funny face's at me gonk stare ) but when I went for a round-house kick he kick me frist and knot me to the floor hard. But then he did the wrost thing he laughed at me when I was in pain but I showed him when I got up and kicked his a** scream xd

You do get credit coming back to finish our match. And thank you for not "kicking my a**" too harshly. rolleyes

The other night my father announces which of the black belts will most likely be testing before he moves. Most of the black belts in our club were there. Skeeter gets told he'll be going for ni dan.
Skeeter turns to Scott (3rd dan our top tactical anatomist). "I love you, Scott."
Scott doesn't even look at him. "It too late now."
Oh, there will be some beatings! twisted

I was invited to help judge a testing at another dojo. On of the requirements for one of the students was to execute a two person drill using shinais. The partner was the sensei that invited me. During the drill, one partner is to duck as the shinai is striking. The girl struck a bit low and CRACK right upside the head.
The sensie didn't flinch. The girl sensed her impending destruction. He sat back down next to me to score her technique. I politely asked,
"Will the receit be a written on, sensei?"
"It will be paid in full, sensei."
The girl later had to spar her sensei. Payback's a b***h.
