Yeah, thanks. But i still feel mean cause i like streek, he has been very nice to me, and then i go and get annoyed at him and post about him being an idiot where everyone can see it..... sad

EmWah I was thinking last night about how funny it would be if the Greens accidentally got in somehow. They'd be sitting there like Garth in Wayne' World, when Wayne leaves him to do the show by himself... then someone says he looks like the guy on the Twilight Zone when his head explodes.... But yeah... they'd have no idea what to do and it would be funny as xp It would be amusing for the first 10 minutes or so before the country fell apart and everyone moved to Canada. xd

elleth celebren But, then again, pigs might fly. Heheheheh. Sorry, but I'm surprised by how accurately that over-used term describes the political system. All your points are valid, but unfortunately I've found when it comes to politics, you actually have to go with the lesser of two evils. A shame though it is.

Okay, you all realise what a huge effect your votes can have on our country right?
I can't believe so many of you are so apathetic about it. For one, if you vote for greens you're more or less wasting your vote. The only actual choice is between latham and howard. I understand that both suck and the greens are better but unfortunately that doesn't make a difference.
I personally will be putting greens down as my second preference, but every time you don't vote labour first is another point for howard.
If you don't care I'd apreciate if you put down labout first, and then greens for me. If you don't have your own opinion you may as well help me out.
I would also advise that you at least start caring about politics enough to be able to make an educated vote. It really does effect you. Specially those of you still in highschool who likely won't be able to get into uni anymore because you simply can't afford it. Or anyone who planned on sending your kids to uni.
My uni just had to cut half the couses it offers over six campus' because of funding cuts.
Anywho that's the last of my political preaches for tonight.

Or, you could put Greens first and Labour second; thereby giving your preffence to Labour, as the Green's don't sit in many seats.
It's probably only best to try voting for Green in seats that they actually hold, or have the potential of obtaining; that's the key info Green voters need. But if you simply tell all Green supporters "it's useless, your vote does nothing" that's very disheartening. Although true in many circumstances, you shouldn't condemn others to think along those lines, otherwise the Greens will never get there.
