As for my medical condition, yes, I have a misaligned pelvis, that's right, and minor heart condition.... But if you don't mind, most of this is extremely personal information, I'll say, "I have pelvic and heart conditions" and leave it at that, thank you. Also, you could possibly trace down my real identity with my medical information.... Mebbe that's just meh being paranoid. Yeah, my mother did too, so she got a C-section, and look at me now razz

i'm a c section baby too, as is my brother and my sister. and my sister got cut out 3 months early and lived.

My doctor, my parents, and I all say down and had one big discussion. C-sect can still aggravate it.

I'm going to have to be with Noir on the If I get pregnant I will deal with an abortion (Family thing, nearly killed my mom to have me).
@sohma - I agree adoption is a choice and often can be a good choice, if the mother can handle the 9 months of pregnancy.
I don't like adoption for a good reason, but this isn't the place to debate that wink

ok, but if you can't ever have kids without endangering your own life, couldn't the more responsible thing to do be to.. oh i dunno... disable your girly parts?
and i mean disable. 100%. They can do that without ruining your sex life too if that bothers you.

I've already talked about that dude. No docotr in his/her righ tmind would ever preform such an operatio before the pastient in question has had a certain amount of children or has reached a certain age.

The problem is that the only 100% surgery is permenant, so if she decided later that she wanted children, she couldn't have them. Whereas, if she has an abortion, she can always have children later. Unless it makes her infirtile.

so? an abortion ends a life forever. i would rather see a woman give up her choice to have children and be pissed than to kill a child or children and possibly have one later.

Yes, but that's the Doctor's opinion, and since abortion is technically legal... They have to avoid lawsuits for their own good. If they let the woman remove her uterus, and she later regrets it then, apparently, there's a risk of her suing the doctor for allowing her to make a bad decision.

Seriously, women who later feel that their aborted children were babies can't sue the abortionists for letting them KILL THEIR BABIES (in their words), but women ARE allowed to sue doctors for removing a body part?

That's exactly what I was wondering. confused I've never heard of a woman being able to sue a doctor for giving her an operation she specifically asked for, knowing full well what it did. But that's what the Pro-Choicers who talk about it have said.
Pfft. We need to get rid of some of these stupid frivolous lawsuits. At least, if this one exists. I think there should be a law: If you make a stupid lawsuit against someone, like for performing an operation you asked for or "for making you fat" because you ate their food, instant death penalty. That'd stop them short!
But seriously, there should be some serious penalty placed on people who make these lawsuits, and lawyers who help them.
