Laial flinched from teh impact of hitting the floor. a**. he was losing his fingers for that. Laial had manageded to get his tentacles in after all, and now he was wrapping one around each finger, constricting and tightening much like a python would.

Simon didn't let go, even as a light shiver ran up his spine at the strange feeling of such slick things wrapping around his fingers. He simply tightened his grip on the shell, raising him higher into the air and slamming him down harder. "Out!" He repeated again, how was he supposed to pound the living hell out of something safely tucked away in a shell? It made him even more angry... To taunt and yell at him then simply hide away!? He was even lower than he thought. He slammed him against the ground again... and again... And again...

Laial's eeys lit up. "If that's what you want..." he replied, grinning. Tentacles shot out of his shell like weeds. Half were to wrap around Simonn's torso and lung area, the other half his throat. The goal? Laial planned on suffocation. Tentacles could suffocate someone easier than hands alone.

Well... He was out. Simon's eyes widened as the tentacles shot out, starting to stumble back, his fingers slipped from Laial's shell. They started to wrap, slipping against the start of the gills on his neck... Tightening. Choking his breathing. He tried to jerk away from them, and if he was lucky his sharp skin might cut through the tender flesh, but it was hardly worth anything.

The moment was all too fast for much thoughts, automatically his hands went to the tentacles around his neck, trying to cease the choking feeling. Trying to pull them away only made them tighter... like fighting with a knot. The rest was much of a blur... He did try to signal a stop towards his arms as they pulled the grey-noodle towards his mouth, he had a fear of biting people. Biting meant he might kill them... And as much as he hated Laial, he wasn't about to wish death on him. But he hadn't reacted in time.

They cut like butter, there was no feeling of resistance. Then... blood... he tasted blood. His mind went foggy at the taste... the smell... suddenlly he was biting again, eyes shutting on instinct and lashing blindly at whatever he could. Right now instincts just wanted whatever was holding him to get off.

Alarms were going off, the techs had caught sight of the fight moments before and then... There was suddenlly blood. Biting. They knew the situation, they knew the feeding frenzy effect that was about to happen... They had to get down there and stop this before it got serious... That is.. more serious than it was on screen.
There was yelling all around the labs, a few buttons were pressed paging all specified guard-tech to report to the 6th floor, Peri's room.

It took roughly one minute for them to rush up and down stairways from whatever floors to reach the room. They busted through the door, a few commands were called to ge this arms and legs... They got Simon. The first went for his head, disabling the most dangerous part-Snapping teeth, with a gag of sorts, then one to each arm and leg, even the tail, jerking him away from the fight to knock him back against the floor.

The rest went to Laial.

Pain. That was the only thing that registered in Laial's mind when Simon bit off some tentacles.

Pure, raw pain.

His reaction to that was the same as it had always been. Retreat into his shell. At first, he wasn't fast enough to stop Simon biting his other tentacles about 3 times, but with the added pain, it helped speed the tentacles up.

Even when he heard footsteps coming closer, Laial remained in his sanctuary, gripping the base of the sawed-off tentacles tightly to try and slow down the bleeding.

Simon fought at first, thrashing and trying to throw them aside, before a needle slipped in through the soft underbelly. There was warmth, then numbness, until finally everything slipped from view as he fell asleep.

"Subject is subdued." The tech reported as Simon fell limp.

Meanwhile, the remaining techs went to tending to the other boy. "Come out, we need to stop the bleeding And get you up to the medical lab." he ordered, pulling out gauze from his coat. "Pick those up... We can reattach them if we hurry."

The other picked up the dismemberred tentacles, shuddering lightly and holding them, waiting for further orders.

As the remaining three techs took to Laial, the rest started hauling the 300lbs of shark-boy out and to the elevator, heading up to the emergency center through a different elevator... He'd stay there until he woke up.

Laial froze when he heard all the thrashing outside. Fortunetly, it stopped soon, and the others wanted to take him to...a medical lab? Slowly coming out of his shell (literally), Laial cautiously looked around at all the unknown people.

And Simon had passed-out. No real concerns about him attacking him again... what was that gray thing a tech was holding? It was all sawed and bloody at one end...

He reached forward slowly, trying to keep from appearing intimidating to take the first wounded tentacle, wrapping it in the gauze tightly to slow the bleeding long enough to get him to the med-lab.

"Can you walk?" the tech asked calmly, hoping to urge the boy out of the shell all the way... He was hurried in the back of his mind, there was the slim chance that he could end up bleeidng to death if he didnt hurry... And the tech wasn't about to let that happen on his watch... He'd lose his job for sure, or worse.

Laial nodded and weaved his legs out; shoes lost somewhere in the last minute. His uninjured tentacles went around his shell and lifted it up slightly, reducing strain. Taking a few steps toward the tech to prove he could.

He stared at the white stuff his tentacle was wrapped in. Was it his eye, or was his tentacle-

He bit the tentacle right off. Laial's mind shut down. Trauma, he would later recall. Shock. But now, now he could only think that one line. He bit it OFF. Severed. Right off.

"Alright." The tech wrapped the remaining stubs of tentacle before he steered him out, toward the elevator. A hand held behind him incase the boy might waver before they got to the med-lab.

The other tech followed, where as the last stayed behind to file a report with Alan... he was not going to be pleased.

Soon they were entering a typical emergency room setting, except without the mass of people waiting to get in. There were a few techs here nad there, rushing about whatever emergencies other techs had gotten into.. But other than that it was fairly lax. He pulled Laial to a room, getting him situated in the bed. This was the end of his job, and another tech, female, replaeced him. The tech carrying the remander of Laial's tentacles had long ago dissapered.

The new tech set up an IV, speaking as she did so "When you wake up you'll be as good as new, alright?" without really waiting for much more, she administered the IV, waiting for him to konk out and getting to work.

Alan, meanwhile, had situated himself across the hall from the bathroom Bree and Peri had gone into, simply waiting for their exit. Arms crossed, foot tapping against the tile.

Laial mutely followed the techs along, down the hallway, up the elevator, and into the emergency room. His body basically follwed the commands given, as his mind shut down.

The IV woke him up fore a second. He had time to nod before it put him back to sleep again.

Heiko finally peered out from behind the podium. No shark-boy, no master, and red stuff on the floor. Not a lot, but a little bit. She also saw a pair of sandels scattered on the floor.

Now grinning broadly, and with an arm about Bree's waist, the dragon instructor led the woman out of the restroom. His clothes, while back on him, were a bit more wrinkled than they had been before he'd entered. His wide grin lasted until green eyes fell upon Alan, apparently waiting for them and with one foot tapping. Uh oh.

"Oh, uh... Hey Boss..."

Bree allowed herself to be lead, tail wagging ever so slightly behind her. Her clothes were in about hte same state... Atleast as much as the little strips of cloth she wore could be.
She had been smiling, until she saw Alan... To which she promptly frowned. The guy that locked her into this mess... Blackmail... Even if it had seemed to turn out for the better, she was still simply tiffed for the sake of her pride.

Alan stared blankly, looking over the two. He stayed silent a moment, even after Peri spoke. "I'm sorry, am I interupting? I'm sure I could come back later..." He asked all too nicely. There was only one right answere to that question...
Work came first. That was generally how Alan lived, and he was nice until someone opposed that. Peri had...

Peri raised an eyebrow at Alan's statement. "That's okay. So... what's up?" There had to be some reason for the Boss to come all the way down here. The problem was... what was that reason? Surely it wasn't about... Nah, it wasn't like he didn't have a class right now or anything. He'd dismissed those two boys, though he'd wondered if the shark kid would come looking for his mom.

And that was the wrong answere. Could have been worse though. "Your class is in need of cleaning, theres blood on the floor. And two dragons who have no idea what just happend." He explained rather non chalauntly, "In the med-lab, both Laial and Simon are sedated. Laial is having his tentacles reattached, we're hoping this works and without any flesh rotting, which would then result in gang green and other serious infections." He averted his gaze to bree, whom looked like her jaw was about to hit the floor. "Simon is unharmed. He was sedated so the techs could pry him away from Laial before any more damage occured. 9th floor. He'll be waking up soon."

Bree was... shocked. Simon was rough, he was rude, he had pumbled Laial when he was just a child... but blood and ripping things off. She'd.. never have thought he'd do that. "9th floor... Right..." she swallowed, giving Peri a goodbye pat to his shoulder, then went straight to the stairs.

Alan watched her leave, then went back to Peri. All in all, from what the techs had said about dismissing, he had dropped his responcibilities. Or atleast Alan understood thats what Peri thought. He had different feelings... "I trust the same mistake won't be made twice? Theres a mop in your classroom. And I'll allow you to call Laial's mother and explain the news. You seem to be good with parents, afterall." he passed a phone number, "You are dismissed." wether he was mocking peri or not was a mystery as he turned and started down the hall towards the elevator.
