Hmmm... tis so far back in the pages don't know if anyone's still interested. If not, I'll stick in the old topics with all the others.
*Meanders off to do some more clean up.*

Ab Fab, Will and Grace... Not really a sitcom, but Monty Python is the best ever.

I don't watch TV, but we have loads of DVDs and VHS movies, including those favorites from TV. I love MASH, Charmed, Dead Zone... but I don't know any of the really new stuff out there.

I was more a fan of adventure shows than sit coms, but a few made me laugh.
Would anyone count "Frank's Place" with Tim Reid as a Sitcom? I used to watch "Head of the Class" with Howard Hessman when I was in high school and, as you can tell, I've always loved "WKRP."
"Cupid" was pretty good, too. I'm a big fan of Jeremy Piven and I have been since "One Crazy Summer." And he had nothing to do with "WKRP."
"Two and a Half Men" was good in its first few seasons, but the writing went downhill pretty fast so my folks don't bother to tape for me it anymore (which is okay, because my father never learned how to operate the machine properly. He hasn't taped a full show, even for himself, since 1989.)
I kinda liked MASH and Taxi, too, of course. Oh, and "Designing Women," Annie Potts is another one of my favorite performers.

Oh yeah! WINGS! We got Thomas Hayden Church, Tony Shalub and Stephen Weber from that show. It was pretty consistently funny - and just nasty enough to not be schmaltzy while just cruel enough to still be human.
Oh, and Red Dwarf was pretty good, too - but I thought it was a 90s show.

Gosh, I'd not realised how old it was smile And you'd think with all the reruns infesting British TV at the moment that they could sneak in a few old Red Dwarf episodes. Maybe one day I'll get the DVDs... DW

One of my family's favorites was Laugh In, I think that's right. It gave Goldie Hawn her start and a lot of others, plus it was funny, not like the comedy of today.

I loved Home Improvement, too. First sitcom I ever watched was Mork and Mindy, grew up watching Alf, too. Current fave has to be Titus. That show was AWESOME. Too bad it got canceled..
