as i said before, i'm a black belt and i have a competition coming up this saturday... i have three friends (two are blue stripes, and one is jr. black belt (red and black)) and whenever we spar against each other, i seem to be the one lacking... i'm really worried about the competition coming up and i just got out of shape... any suggestions on working out to help with tae kwon do?

nobody replied.... but i went to the competition today and i got gold for poomse 품세 and another gold for sparring 겨루기 whee it felt good to get two gold medals biggrin

I've never tried sparring, because I suck at it. x3 I just stick to poomsays.. and got one gold and one bronze. heart

um... I don't do Tae Kwon Do... I Japanese Traditional Martial Arts... does that count? At the time there wasn't any Tae Kwon Do training center where I live so the closest my parents and I could find was Japanese Traditional Martial Arts...

Belt: Orange...T-T I did TKD in first grade, got to green belt, then I quit...and I took it up again because my little brother wanted to do it...so I had to start over.
How long? I did it for a year before, and half a year right now, so I guess two years.

i'm learning hapkido in my black belt class. it's kinda cool.. cool one moment, you're shaking hands, the other moment, you're on the floor, tapping the floor like crazy because you're in pain.... xp

i'm only a yellow belt i started about 4 months ago and enjoy it alot My Friends dad owns the place and i do it with my older sister and my friend is a 1st degree but her dad is like 10th degree or something i for got what she told me. I am also 100% korean. 3nodding

Wow... It's been so long since I came on Gaia... Anyways, I quit Tae Kwon Do in October... I've been really out of shape ever since... crying I might start again next year. Not very sure... I hope none of you are as unfortunate as me.
