 :ponders: I 'spose it's safe to post... Eventually, I intend to quest for an Empyrean. Well, I guess that bit's obvious, or I wouldn't be posting. But, yeah. ^^; Armed with some encouragement, I'm going to take a page on the thread for it. Please don't post 'til I'm done?

Where to begin...? When the time comes, I'll be questing for Tevy, a Sanguine Journeyman. She'd be based on an existing original character, not history-wise, but in most other aspects. I'm still developing her, but I love how she's turned out so far in different stories, and have a pretty solid grasp of her personality and quirks. Concept Originally, Tevy was a half- Couerl child. A tomboy, street urchin, and orphan... in short, a filthy, raggedly little bundle of attitude. She had her kind and tender moments, but usually she was playful in her rough, unpracticed manner that can sometimes be taken the wrong way. She was also very reactive to other's tone, words, and disposition. Though a thief by necessity, she was notoriously good at it. Not the criminal mastermind kind of theft, mind you... simply pick-pocketing, snatching from vulnerable stalls, and generally taking what was needed to survive. That isn't to say she didn't enjoy it. She was sometimes caught in the act... but that was part of the fun for her, and though she was never truly captured, she bore quite a few scars from her "play." It never deterred her, though. In fact, she considered them worthy of some odd, small pride. For Tevy, each scar had a lesson, and was a solid reminder of mistakes that shouldn't be made. Whether her past would even follow this history roughly is kind of a moot point, since she won't remember it anyway. I mainly just say this because it isn't these events that her personality has developed her personality, per say, but a display of how she reacts in a situation because of her personality.

The name "Tevy" means angel, or angelic. One could call it a twist of irony that a girl like her could be considered angelic. Easily tempted into mischief, outgoing in some matters better left undisturbed, wielder of a wry sense of humor, and quick to anger... she's easily considered rough around the edges. But despite this, she retains not only a childish innocence but an unwavering dedication to what she binds herself to, whether it be a goal or a person. Though sometimes in her passion her emotions run off with her wits, Tevy always retains a sense of practicality, even if she doesn't yield to it when she should. Though she doesn't seem to pay the fact much heed, she also has a decent sense of balance, physically and mentally. Often enough, she will put aside her own opinions for the sake of keeping the balance of peace between others. The balance between her and another, however, is another story... >->;By the same token, in appearance, Tevy is often scruffy and, well... dirty. Her hair is cropped just above her shoulders, and her clothes rarely fit her properly. But beneath her usual layer of dirt lies a startling potential for beauty... if only someone could get her to tap it! ... pfft, as if.
