Alloran Shanra Eulalia Danae As Clair got back to her limo she turned again to Alloran, "I may ask for you again. Do you do parties by chance?" "Parties, ma'am?" Alloran sputtered, her comment completely catching him off guard. "yes, parties, I usually hire officers to monitor and safeguard my festivities, they're cheaper, and can carry weapons. It's not that unusual." Clair gave him an annoyed look.

"I suppose I could, but I don't tend to carry weapons. Officer Brooks said I didn't need them, being a Lesser."

Alloran Shanra "I suppose I could, but I don't tend to carry weapons. Officer Brooks said I didn't need them, being a Lesser." Clair waved her hand brushing away the comment. "You're big and scary enough to do the job, it won't matter. I'll be sure to request you. For now you can go home, I'll give you decent enough marks for the job, which is better than the last escort."

"Thank you Ma'am. I was grateful to help." Alloran said, stepping away from the limo.

Far from the city walls, a tattered figure can be seen, pushing an old shopping cart.

The guards glanced up at the distance seeing the approaching figure. They gave it little mind, as they see a lot of approaching figures. With a slight shrug they wait for her to approach.

Talia found a sheltered place to spend the night, a culvert with only a trickle of water running out of it. "This looks like a good place, Larry," she said, pulling a couple of ratty blankets out of her cart. After settling down, she spoke again, "Do you really think she's in there?"

In the morning, the sun's slanting rays revealed that there was a good-sized tunnel running toward the city. There was an iron grating across in about 10 feet in, but it was twisted and broken. "Maybe it goes all the way in," she said, "What do you think, Loreez?" The teddy bear didn't anwser, but then again, it never did.
Since she couldn't maneuver her cart through the hole in the grate, she left it there, and ventured deeper into the tunnel, taking only Larry (the blanket-wrapped sword) and Loreez (the teddy bear) with her into the darkness.

After a lot of walking (and a lot of rest stops on the way), Talia finally saw some light up ahead. "I think we're getting close, Larry." As she approached, the light resolved itself into a single beam shining down through a manhole cover. "That looks to heavy to lift...we need to find another way, c'mon Loreez, don't fall behind."
