I play a Tyranid army, not a very big one at the moment (in the neighborhood of 1,000 points) but I've still gotten some victories. I more or less just have the army box and some blisters I picked up to bolster it. Oh, and Old One Eye. That thing has saved my a** against my brother's Leman Russ, lol. So, uh, yeah. Whats an old one eye? can you post a pic here? Old One Eye is a special character in the 'nid codex. A Carnifex with Scything Talons and Crushing claws. It can also regenerate one lost wound at the end of every Tyranid turn, and has a chance of getting back up the first turn after something kills it. Stats are: Pts 164 WS 4 BS 2 S 10 T 6 W 4 I 2 A D6+1 Ld 10 Sv 2+  That's really nasty for the point value. No kidding...... maybe i should send the sampling team to go look for one... *Laughs.* im serious! I know, that's what's so funny. Hey, i own the teams, i dont have to pay to send them out to kill themselves after big bugeyed monsters. This is true. Course you could hire them out.......... *Laughs.* I think I'll pass on that one. aww............................................. *starts mumbling pitifully* ((just joking around))

I think you'll find ALL heroes need permission to be used. No codexes state that though. And you'll also find very few of us here USE heroes. We make our own. Models that perform well get rewarded with promotions and the spare points spent on them.

Thats the one where BOB the almighty died, right? My veteran seargent lost an arm to a Left Knee from the My Leg sytem. hes being upbraded to a Leader for wargear, including a bionic power fist.

i think they need to get rid of the 12 species limit when you create your own hive fleet, sigh,
im big on the conversions, so i LOVE making new species, and i really dont see the point of the 12 species limit, i mean, unless your playing like 10,000pts games, you will never use them all, and besides, tyranid are suppose to be in a constant state of evolution are they not?
