((Ohhh sure, that's fine. biggrin Of course Lim will have to disquise himself.. since Muffy doesn't believe in gods. But that's all good.))
"Indeed it is. A throne of sorts for the families out here."
-His eyes filtered over the rock lightly, less entertained with it then she was. He'd seen it before.. and it was just a rock. But he wouldn't rain on her parade, and kept softly silent, letting his eyes try to find something a little more attractive upon the rocks. Her words drew him back lightly, eyes glancing back over his shoulder.-
"I know OF them. Golden in color, perched up on the rocks. King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi."
"The Pridelands do not worship gods, so very few gods venture within. So I have never met them. They should be easy enough to find though."

[Yay. n.n I've wanted to meet Muffy for a while, now, actually. XD]"Well, I suppose some like the idea of living on a huge, great rock that announces their status." She shrugged lightly, her excitement with Pride Rock itself beginning to wane; it now turned towards its inhabitants. Would they be different? How? Would it be just in appearance, or would their personalities and ways of life also be alien to her? She didn't know, but she intended to find out.
"Mufasa and Sarabi," she muttered under her breath, committing the names to memory. She intended to be polite; these were not her lands, and the royals she would perhaps meet were not bratty children of princes and princesses. The way she was going to behave around these royals, if she got near them, Taabu would only recognise her by sight.
"They don't believe?" She pauses a moment, then adds, quieter, "I suppose I can understand that. I didn't really believe until I met you. Part of me did, but most of me found it hard to believe in something I'd only heard stories about."
She strains her head forward now, trying to further her vision. "Let's find us a royal, then, Lim. If you don't mind," she adds belatedly, since he was doing all the work, here. She was just along for the ride.

"Status is an important thing to alot of people. But so is safety. Highgrounds make it hard for people to sneak up. So perhaps their home is a bit of both?" -He replied bored, having never met the group he had no clue their intentions. But one would have to be awfully full of themselves to life on a giant rock for no reason other then status and vainity. And as of yet he hadn't heard such words used for this pride. But he supposed he was about to see himself.-
"Very well." -Slowly the ground began to expand beneath them, until finally Lim's paws rest upon the soft savannah grasses that butted up to the edge of the rock incropping. He didn't ask if she wanted to get off, figuring she could slide off if she really wanted, instead he worked on the illusion that slipped around him.. his colors fading to a white.. before splashes of color kissed his pelt. White.. a little black, with splashes of pink swallowing his legs. Why.. to look at the two, you'd almost think they were father and daughter.
When the illusion was complete he cast a grin in her direction, seemingly amused by the soft play of pretend.- "Up we go then Flower."
-Mufasa yawned gently, streching slowly as he stepped from the den, leaving his precious queen behind to linger on in her dreams. Blinking gently to let his eyes adjust to the sun, he sat simply upon the rocks, waiting to wake up, before he decided what the afternoon had in store for him.-

She watched with amusement and interest as his fur changed colour, craning around a little to get a better look. As she had partly expected, he now resembled her, and she laughed lightly. "Copycat," she murmurs, settling into a more comfortable position on his back, almost lazy, furthering the illusion of them being related.
"Yes. Up." She nods toward the ledge where the king and queen's den was. "The royals live there, right? That's what I heard." Her tail flickered lightly behind her, as she lay almost on her side atop him, her crimson eyes directed upwards. Yes, they really do look like father and daughter. One wouldn't guess they'd met only a short time ago.

"It is easier if we look related.. and beside, who doesn't want to be a vibrant flower?" -Ahh flattery. One of his strong suits. Offering her simply a grin with her teasing, he gently began the trek up the rocks, stopping as he landed on each rock to make sure the young one hadn't swayed too much, before he leapt again, until finally he rest upon the long rock landing, tail twitching softly, as he made one last check that he hadn't lost his 'baggage' on the trip up.- "Still on there Flower?"
-The motion, and soft splash of color caught Mufasa's eye before Lim had a chance to spot him, and he stood slowly. Giving a bit of a lazy shake, before he padded a few curious steps forward, calling out lightly to the unfamilar duo. There wasn't a whole lot of pink in his lands.- "Hello there. Looking for someone?"

She snickered softly at the compliment, still firmly on his back. She had some experience with this, with Liza. "You're such a tease, Lim," she mutters, not sounding displeased. She shakes her head a little, though her attention was now taken by the male before her. Golden fur, as she'd been told many Pridelanders had.
She hopped lightly from Lim's back, deciding that being perched on a 'relative's' back wasn't the best way to meet a royal, as this male most likely was. Of course, she didn't realise that he was the royal of all royals, the king. No doubt he or Lim would fill her in on this in due course, though.
"Ah, yes, actually, I am," she replies to Mufasa, filling her voice with a politeness and respect that bratty Taabu wouldn't expect her to possess. "I'm looking for an... acquaintance," she continued, unable and unwilling to call Taabu a friend. "His name's Taabu. I'd heard he was the grandson of the king and queen here, his father a prince." She pauses, then asks, "Is that true?" Well, at least now she'd find out the truth about it all, for better or for worse.

-Letting her slip from him, he settled himself lightly behind her, keeping silent as he inspecting the large and golden lion before him. He was far bigger and FAR older then Lim.. atleast in appearence.. but something about his coat gave a glow like the sun, and it cast soft interest in Lim's mind. He stared rudely, silent, letting the girl do as she pleased.-
-Mufasa didn't seem to mind the inspection however, turning his attention entirely to the young one before him, offering a warm, and yet apologetic smile, and a hint of a laugh.- "I'm afraid I don't know the name... but if his father is a prince from here, that would be why. Both of my living sons have traveled away over time. I'm happy to hear that they've sired families however. It makes a father proud."
-A rumbling of a purr rippled through him at the thought, before his eyes once again returned to the young one.- "I'm sorry that I couldn't help you find him. Or find the truth behind the words."

How could Taabu know that the silly little mistweaver was going to go back and drill the ones he had claimed kin to? After all, he hadn't done something at all similar - in fact, up until this point, he was actually quite forgetful of the little self-proclaimed princess. It was only pure luck that he saw her now, in fact, because he was on his way to see his Bibi after staying in the pridelands for a while.
As he came up behind the pair, his brow quirked, first seeing the larger male that did indeed remind him of the little girl - and then, in fact, he saw the little girl herself. His tail flickered as he paused a moment, listening to her words and the returning words of his grandfather. Well, he knew that this was at least Mufasa now - the grandfather he had never been introduced to.
"Did I forget to tell you, little princess, that I had never met my grandfather?" came the words, his bodice emerging from the curtains of shadows cast down by granite faces - created by the large mountain of pride rock. His eyes glimmered, bright dual orbs of fire, unmistakeably pinning him as either Uumi or Kiuma's child no doubt - the great black tuft that would one day became a giant mane falling across his maw.
"Though, I suppose I should introduce myself to him now, especially since you've informed him I exist," he said, taking a stance up at her side, a slight bit forward. His head lowered, eyes cast down as he moved in a graceful feline bow, then slowly he let his head come back up - the proud stance that his mother always held, no matter if she was in her lands or another's. "It seems my parents never introduced me, I'm Taabu, son of Uumikaji and Syeira. I met Bibi as a little cub, I'm not sure if she ever told you, however."
He was quite polite, in fact, to the grandfather he had never met - and the small female at his side was more than overshadowed by his large form. It seemed that he had in fact been granted the gift of growing into a large male, for in his adolescence - he could already overpower most adult females and even some males. Mufasa's genes were obviously not lost on him.
[[Taabu is in the siggy -points- the only male lion of them all xD]]

She barely bit back a growl at the voice, deeming it not polite to do to someone's grandson... especially if that someone was the king of the lands you were in. She contemplated bowing with Taabu, but thought it was too late for that now; it would look like she was doing it because Taabu was, and she was already embarrassed enough at being caught in the act of finding out the truth about him. Not that she'd let it show, though.
She merely shook her head, and said quietly, calmly, "No, I don't believe you did tell me. Must have slipped your mind."
Nyunya glanced behind her at Lim, half-tempted to excuse herself and go looking for another person to talk to in these lands, but it would be rude to Mufasa, as well as point out the lie in her words. She could be polite, whatever Taabu thought of her, and she had told the king she was looking for Taabu. Essentially, she was stuck. And she didn't like it.

-He listened to the conversation half heartedly, seemingly a droll matter because none of it involved him, or anyone that he knew. However the assurtion that THIS was the king.. that amused him lightly.
Not much of a king if he couldn't keep track of his family? Perhaps it was that old age? Mulling over these thoughts wistfully, his attention was soon drawn by the new presence. And though she was silent to the plight the discomfort of his young flower was more then obvious to the God. In which a mildly nasty glare touched his face, remarkably and without intent seeming to mirror the irritation of a father who thought his young had been mistreated. -
"Rather silly to use words of your 'status' to impress girls. Ecspecially when your ranking is so slight even the king doesn't know of it." -Soft malicous words, brought from who knows, were directed to the adolescent, before he fell silent once again. He'd assumed.. and probably wrongly, but oh well. No skin off of his teeth. His vision quickly turned however with the apparent discomfort of the king-
-Golden ears flicked gently at the sound, eyes turning to inspect this new intrusion. The natural colored pelt skewing his thoughts for a moment, along with the words themselves. What a fool he was... his grandchild living her within the lands and he was none the wiser. Did that mean that Uumikaji was back as well? Had he been such a bad father that his own children would choose to avoid him in his own lands?
A silent sigh shifted through the old lion's body, but finally that warm and familar smile touched his maw, bowing his head gently in return.- "I can't believe I've yet to meet one of my own blood. My old age really has effected my getting around." -Closing his eyes in soft apology, he added lightly.- "It is a pleasure to meet you Taabu. I do hope that you, and your parents are doing well?"

His eyes drifted slowly away from his grandfather, flickering back towards the male behind him. He didn't act like any father Taabu had ever seen - but then, neither did his own. He simply shrugged at the male, eyes narrowing rather unkindly as he heard his words roll through his ears. "I did not use words of my status to impress the girl, not intentionally, but she was no innocent in passing status about. Little Nyunya here says she's a princess," he flicked his eyes back to the white female at his side, then quirked a brow, "Only, I took her word for it and didn't try to hunt down her king."
He watched her for a moment, listening still to the words of the god - though, his status was unknown to the young lion. "And he doesn't know of me because we do not live in these lands. I am only noble here by my father's blood, not because I actually belong to the pride. However, in the Kusini lands, the king knows me as good as he knows his own children."
He glanced back then, with a calm expression, anger never appearing and agitation never evident, offering a gentle smile and words lingering with the undertone of a gentle little purr, "You weren't around in the few days that mother, father, and I spent here - do not think so badly of it. This is the first time I've been back since I was little. I sort of left without permission, but it was something I needed to do in order to help my parents. They should be here soon enough, however." He smiled again, slowly falling to a siting position, stance rigid and prideful as ever it was before.

She had to work hard to keep the smile off her face at Lim's words, surprised and gratified by them. Where had they come from? Not that she was complaining, but she supposed she'd have to explain to him a few things later, such as the fact that she'd been the one to lie about status. Not to impress him, but to put herself on a similar level. Why, she didn't know, but done was done. And she wasn't going to confess to fabrication in front of these three, if ever.
"I didn't come here looking for him intentionally," she counters, lying through her teeth. "But finding someone here who may know you, I decided to ask a little about you. Get to know you a little better, in case our paths ever crossed again. That's hardly harmful, is it? You seem to be so untrusting of me, Taabu. What have I done to deserve that?"
She steps back a little, to seat herself beside Lim, flicking her tail behind her. She had to admit, she was a little confused. She acted so different around Taabu. Why? A little frown slips onto her face as she ponders this mystery.

-Perhaps it was the boredom from before.. perhaps it was because the whole charade and game of pretend was softly amusing, but once again the god chided at Taabu, seeming to disreguard his long speech.- "Disrespectful to women and now to your elders as well? Perhaps they should teach manners in the Kusini land."
-Of course the soft bickering made no sense to Mufasa, and he interupted softly, replying simply, more as if the advice was a fleeting thought.- "There is no reason to bicker. Status is such a silly thing to worry about. One blood doesn't make you any better or worse then any other. All status does is add responsiblity. I stand no taller or better then any other Pridelander. Or rogue of that matter."
"Actions and intentions carry more weight then blood ever could."
-He rolled his eyes gently, the words of the king having torn into his fun and game. Letting his tail curl and flick back and forth around the little lady, he asked lightly.- "Perhaps we should leave the two to talk. You can always talk to Taabu afterwards."

Taabu frowned at the male behind him once again, his opinion on the brute forming quite opposite of favoring. Though, whatever words he would have said to the male he had yet to know, he swallowed back and let himself calmly glanced aside. For once, he was rather put to shame with his own words - if only by the great king himself. In fact, he was rather ashamed of bickering in the first place.
"I didn't mean to make it seem like I was bettering myself, it was just explaining who I am is all. I never did it to make myself special or anything, I guess it just came off that way," he muttered, lowering his head for a moment before his eyes glanced backwards to Nyunya. "Sorry if I made it seem that way, little princess," he said, nodding slowly.
He wouldn't apologize to Lim though. He didn't need to. He didn't know the git, and as wrong as it was for Taabu to bicker at him - it was also wrong for Lim to be bothering in his conversation to start with.

She widened her eyes a little at Taabu. He just... apologised. Sincere or not, it was a big step for him, she thought. Kind of put her off balance for a moment, to be honest. Clearing her throat, she nodded back at Taabu, settling her gaze on Lim's tail as it surrounded her. "It's all right," she mumbles in reply. "No harm done." A hesitation, and then, "I suppose I could apologise for taking out a bad mood on you, even if you did fail to introduce yourself properly." Quite hung up on that, isn't she?
She looks up at Lim, then. "I suppose we could leave to let them get to know each other... If you want to, I don't mind." She stands, ready to leave if Lim wanted to take her elsewhere. Funny, but she hadn't yet thought about how she would get home. Just sort of... assumed he'd take her.
