I was in my hobby (art school) and I sayd something about hamasaki, and then someone sayd that ''you shold listen to miyavi, he is much better than hamasaki'' and when i got home i started to get more info about miyavi... and it ended to me to be his fan^^ 3nodding

I didn't actually get into Jrock completely until I took Japanese last year. Someone introduced me to Dir en Grey and I had found myself obsessed with Jrock from then on. I searched it on YouTube and Miyavi's Freedom Fighters popped up. At first all I could do was obsess over his awesome multicolored hair, but as the song went on I thought, "This guy's so dorky... I LOVE IT!" xd heart heart

Gazette is still my favorite, but I will always idolize Miyavi. ^^-

My friend had an icon with an at-the-time unknown man in a skirt and parasol.. we wanted to find out who it was.. and it was Miyavi.. and we fell in love with his music right away.

well, I cant really remember, I've known Miyavi for a very long time, I just thought that he was pretty hot but didnt really get to know him, one day I was bored and downloaded some songs and I loved them xd xd

haha that's such a funny story for me sweatdrop okay so i was watching death not at like midnight on a schoolnight, and i was really tired. i looked up the members of nightmare, who does the opening theme song (The World) and I tried to find more about them...

there I stumbled across Gazette...(i got a couple members of gazette confused with nightmare members because i'm that much of an idiot and the web pages didn't clarify enough)

then i fell in love with kai heart haha...so i looked for stuff of his on youtube...

and i saw the vid where miyavi practically tackles him and kisses him on the cheek!! rofl lmao and then i decided miyavi was really cool and listenened to his music, and from then on he was my new favorite sweatdrop

I regret how my first reaction to miyavi was back then. One of my friends told me they were into miyavi and since we had like the same music style, i checked him out. she said she liked the song pop is dead from him so i downloaded that song. when i first downloaded that song and listened to it, i honestly really didn't like it at all. i thought it was...i honestly don't know. i just knew i didn't like it. [i so regret it. T.T but now that song is my number one song that i like].
well, now i was into gackt thoough so i typed in his name on google images and i noticed a picture of gackt and miyavi together [like two seperate pictures put together] and i thought that the one dude was really REALLY hot. i looked at the name and i noticed it was miyavi.
i then thought that i only heard one song of miyavi and that i should give him another chance since every singer/band there is like at least one song that i don't really prefer. so i downloaded the rest of his songs and i really liked them. after i listened to oresama shikou, ossan ossan ore nanbo, etc [all the metal hardcore myv songs], i listened to pop is dead. i then realized that song was pretty good, actually really good.
and that is how i got really into him.
^^ i know, its sad that i didn't like him at first.

I looked up a list of japanese artists and filtered through it. Got some other good ones too, then after I looked up more stuff about him I realized a picture I had that I loved and got like a year before was actually him xd
