"But noone's seen her recent like?" Arch pressed, his mac and cheese forgotten.

Louise entered the station in silence, her long black trench coat and the quiet thud of her heavy boots the only sound as she made a b-line to the tack board with announcements. She’d already received notice of this week’s bounties but felt the need to double check. It’s just the kind of person Louise was.

Realizing that no one was manning the front desk and deciding that she needed some assistance Louise found herself in a dilemma. She could do the curtious thing and ding the bell and run the chance of not being heard and wasting valuable time that she could be using to catch her bounties or she could do the more entertaining thing and kick the cheap metal desk, make a loud crashing noise and have people here as soon as they could get their donut loving butts out of their office chairs.

Louise opted for the latter. Testing the stability first so she wouldn’t risk putting her leg through the desk and looking like a fool Louise drew back one leg and let it fly, making quite the loud BOOMF of boot on metal and leaving a lovely boot toe shaped dent in the front of the desk. Pleased, Louise stepped back and stuffed her hands back into her pocket, face blank of any remorse for having damaged city property.

Arch's face turned serious. "I'm just curious as to her whereabouts. So any information at all?
Oh. And the shades stay."

Turning her head just enough that she could glare at Brooks out of the corner of her good eye she sized him up. “Boy, I’m taller than you and we both know it.” She retorted, her tone frosty but otherwise calm. Shifting her weight onto her right leg she resorted to the silent stare. She wasn’t going to have a discussion with someone who wouldn’t even leave his tiny cubicle to address her.

Alloran walked through the door, his normal sullen posture present as he saluted Brooks and the woman he was with.
"The job was completed to Ms. Clair's satisfaction, sir."

With his wrist pushed back the man grabbed for a tazer at his waist. "Not so fast, you can't just walk in here like this."

Louise made a mental note to snipe this man later on in the week. Giving him no response to his comment but an even chillier look and a deep scowl. Removing the letter she’d found slipped into her mailbox the day before she held it out to him. “I received this yesterday. Define the extent of my “disabilatating weapon” for me, won’t you, boy?” She’d decided that for every condescendingly feminine term he used to address her with she’d return the favor. “Or should I be talking to someone with a more impressive uniform?” And she leaned forward, squinting at the tiny stripes that symbolized the nature of his post for emphasis, hands still in her pockets.

At this point she wasn't paying any attention to the other officers. They weren't giving her crap for being a female bounty hunter. Brooks is such a dweeb.
