Van felt Tona squirm behind him and watched the demon leave. Tona livined up after she knew he was gone. She ran out from behind the youthful elf. She jumped around the vast opening in the trees. Twisting and turning as she were in love. The small human girl stood breathless not too far from the lake. "See. I told you Ivvy." said she, "He looks just like you." With her breath back she started up her dancing again. Van sighed before he walked forward into the plain. "Yes, he did look like me, but not exactly. He was much older then me. Your eyes wouldn't be able to tell, but we must go now. I have to take you back to the camp before I go to Travlen Town. Come, Tona." The elf mostioned for her to hurry after him. She stopped her dance to run to him. "Oh, may I go, please?"
"No. I can't take you with me, Tona." Van knelt to one knee. "I have a very, very important job that I must do. I can not indanger your life for it. Now, let us go." Van stood and walked to the edge of the clearing. Tona stayed rooted to the stop she stood. The elf turned to her with questioning eyes. She stared back with a fury that many would not think an eight-year-old could have. "Is it about the seed necklace?"
Van turned fully to look at her. Shock with a dash of melencoly showed across his eyes while the rest of his features were well controlled. "What?"
"I heard mama and papa talking with the others about it. They say it has been stolen." The fire in the little girl's eyes bombarded their way to concern. "You're not going to look for it are you? If who ever took it find out that you are, they could kill you."
Van's eyes turned to clear. He mostioned again for her to walk with her. This time she followed, already knowing the answer to her question.

Who does he think he is? Blind puppy? Why I oughta... Dark brought her temper into check. Still.... he's got some nerve there... She gazed coolly up at the demon, a small smile lingering on her lips. "Mild entertainment, eh? Nice one." The smile vanished as she moved her attention from him, closed her eyes, and opened her senses to identify where all the presenses were. There sure are a lot of figures here.... that's odd.... What was it the demon had said? The realm is so freakin dull? Hm... Dark re-opened her eyes and gazed at the lake straight ahead. Her shoulder blades tensed towards eachother, waiting to release her wings. Don't.... the demon.... She didn't need any of her secrets being spilled in front of this guy just yet.

Staying in the tree, Kratos had a fun idea. Puppies need leashes. With a snap of his fingers, he sent twirling vines snapping down, and as in the motion of his finger wrapped them around the demon dog's neck. Then, to finish off his spell, he had the branch come up to him so he could hold on.

Dark was about to pounce when the vines wrapped around her neck. What on earth? It didn't take long for her to trace the vine to the demon. She stared at him, debating wether or not to challenge his strength. Placing one paw on part of the vines in front of her, Dark's claws extended, and she slashed through the vines with a single swipe. Shaking the remining vines from her neck, she turned away from the demon. Her eyes closed, she let her powers flow around her, causing a red fire-like substance to suround her. Burn.... The vines and leaves closest to her withered up and turned to ashes. Dark re-opened her eyes, closing off the spell. Gazing up at the demon, she smiled, then turned to look at the lake once more.

Kenji smelled the scent of fish nearby. He headed toward the scent and ended up near a body of water.

Seeing the flames shot up the vine Cratos swung the vine out twoards the lake, a light splash of it breaking the peace of the river reaching up to his ears. A small grin crease4d his face as his left hand hooked some of his shaggy purple hair behind his ear. Turning his head his gaze glowed out over the lake, the moon glistening and reflecting, the stars creating small patterns the fishes followed.
Without looking down at the demon below him, his gaze steady on the lake, his voice came out as a calm sighing of a voice. "Name's Cratos. A beautiful lake is it not? It is amazing how so many can be around here at this time of the year. Too bad there arent that many cities around." With his last statement, the grin slipped off his face.

"Cratos..." Dark bowed her head momentarily. "My name is Dark." Glancing back up at the demon, she noticed his change in attitude. Hm.... "That's true, the water is calming.... The number of cities around matters little to me, as I tend to avoid them." Dark lifted her nose to the moon. It was nice to have a small measure of peace.... once in a while anyways.... Not that she could withstand it for too long though. Her father's angry features and mother's worried glances crept into her head. Dark shook her head, then leapt onto the tree next to Cratos so they were level.

Cratos didnt move as Dark jumped into the branches close to him. "I wouldnt suggest going to any cities around here anytime soon anyways..." Cratos said, his voice sounding far away as his eyes glazed over as he stared at the moon. "Kind of a peaceful night, but it seems like a cover."

Yushitzune sat under a tall tree his head bobbed up and down as he slept deeply. His slumber was soon interupted by a loose branch that landed on his head. "Jeeze this isn't my day, no towns no resting areas...and now this!"he thought to himself. He decided to stay up instead and travel until he could find a good spot to sleep.

"I know what you mean... A little too peacefull...." And for me, a little unsettling for other reasons.... Dark sighed and rested her head on her paws, keeping her eyes wide open and alert.

Kenji drifted away from the fish smell and looked for people. He found someone sitting up with a branch near him under a small tree.
"Can you help me?" he asked.

Yushitzune jumped, startled at the beatsly figure a few feet in front "What the hell are you....Why would something as big as you need my assistance?"

Yushizune came closer to the figure infront of him " So what are you a bear or something? ". He said as he poked the it in the nose. " And how do you talk anyway? " Yushitzune asked puzzled.

"I talk through my mouth! The same thing I eat animals with! And I'm not just an animal I'm a werewolf, I transform every night just not on full moons. Luckily I'm not one that goes into rage and eats humans!" He yelled.
