She turned swiftly around and faced him, "You surprised me." Her wings fluttered for a moment as she thought, and looked out over the place that was once her home. "Yes, it was. My home I mean." She looked back towards the castle, "I feel a presence, but I have never met her myself. So I am not sure if it is hers I feel." She turned back to face him, "I'm sorry I do not know."

Cody searched the area with his eyes from the spot he stood - beneath a tree. His baby brother was wrapped in a blanket and held close to his chest. He wore a cloak with a hood over his head. On three, I run for the castle. 1...2... He thought. Before he could think three, a branch fell and landed besides him. He screeched quietly and ran for the castle nervously. His vampire fangs glimmered in whatever light was left as he ran.

He gave a slight frown, "'Tis alright if thee doth not know." He looked towards the castle, then away when he heard something and saw someone running towards the castle. He turned and took off and flew towards the figure then gently picked him up with his front legs and carried him back to the castle and landed and entered inside. "'Tis thee alright?"

Cody flinched when he had felt himself be picked up. He looked up to see the dragon and his hands shook slightly. He had never been touched by a dragon before. He tried to smile when he dropped him inside. He then nodded. "Yes, now thanks to you, sir." He said, bowing slightly, as trying not to drop his sleeping brother.

She came over to stand next to the newcomer and the dragon. "Hello. My name's Arin." She looked at what he held in his arms to find a sleeping child.

He continued to look out over the trees, silently thinking to himself. Then turned to the newcomer, "My name 'tis Skie. If I may ask, what 'tis thee name?"

Cody smiled softly at the lady and the dragon. "Pleased to meet you both. My name is Cody, and my baby brother here is named Mark." He said quietly, trying not to wake Mark as he slept.

"And it good to meet you both as well." She said it with a softness also not to wake the little one. She looked towards the courtyard, though why she was not for sure. But brought her attention back to Cody and his little brother. "If I may ask. How old is he?"

Cody looked down at his brother. He quickly brushed his skinny fingers through his brother's black hair. "Two years old." He said quietly, as not to wake him up.

Skie looked at the boy, "'Tis a very young one then." He paused for a moment, then looked over towards the castle doors, and went over to ask a guard where the dining hall is, then came back. "'Tis going to get something to eat. Would any of thee like to join?"

Cody heard his stomach growl and he looked up at Skie. "Me and my brother shall join you Sir Skie." He said, bowing his head quickly and looking down at his brother for a moment.
