Donovinhs Knight Some harsh words being thrown around in this thread sweatdrop I dont think the UN wishes to demolish jews...what would they have to gain by commiting genocide, which is of course against UN law stuffs As for the poll, I believe a peace treaty would be a very good thing. I believe that losing a few soldiers is certainly worth it so that more dont get lost. Currently Im happy at what Ive been hearing, or should say not hearing, about the region. Im a little dissapointed at Frances contribution though, but what can you expect, their french... stare you really think a peace treaty would last or hlp at all? about the french... you know they wont say anything because they like the oil they get.

tsshark tsvi_tyl "sorry man" but more then 100% people went to war. (means more than asked, and even people OVER AGE) AND IM NOT A LITTLE MAN, and is also from my uncle, so is not a small opion, and also hes a rabbi. i dont think we have no choice we could just have done it! i dont think the united nations would be not mad (in their inside) about it, they will be happy, but not in the outside. they wont show it Well, the fact that people went to fight those damn arabs, doesn't mean the wanted to. The compulsory service soldiers didn't have any choice but to go there and fight, and the reserve duty soldiers didn't have a choice, either. This is your "100%". About the other people who enlisted, they didn't want to fight. They just figured out that this is an important thing to help to protect our country and families. Face it, Tomer. There are alot of people that want to protect our country, and are willing to give their lives for it too. Alot more people than you think 3nodding .

Countries like and need oil, the M.E is the closest place for france to get its oil from. And where does Israel get its oil from? Last I heard Israel has no oil deposits of its own...

The treaty never worked the only people that were following it were the UN. THe first day of the ceasefier Hizbollah fired over 200 rockets into Northern Israel and the IDF responded. Yes Israel is clearing out preparing for UN fores to arrive which their having problems geting together. No one has pledged more than 300 troops at one time. As Israeli force are trying to clear out they are still being attacked by the Hizbollah. The main problem right now is that Hizbollah does not recognize the UN and vice versa. We must also remember that as far as Israel is concerned this WAS NOT a major offensive. In fact if you ask me I think they used most of it to gather intelligence I think within the next 6 months to a year Israel will be in an all out war with Hizbollah. And the Europeans will for the most part not interefere. Israel has England, the US, and several other countries on thier side. And as terrorists strike more across Europe more will come over. At the BBC in their forums on Israel and the conflic of the 100 posts I read only 3 were anti Israel and they were Americans. From ******** West Virginia or Texas. Anyway, this should have been taking care of years ago but whenever we got into a conflice with those bastards Clinton or whoever was in the white house would force a treaty and it would just conitinuel. No amount of land will satisfy these people. In fact giving away land like it was candy is part of the reason I believe this happend. It was a sign of weakness. We cannot tolerate a government that is weak. The Hizbollah were lulled into complacency along with the rest of the world thinking ISrael could be pushed around. They ******** themselves up their own a*****e this time.

Well, one thing is for sure, she's right about the weak Government, treating hizzbullah like little kids that want cadies, and Israel being pushed around. Personal experiance, you don't need more than that. We're living the facts here...

If they say they won't attack, they won't attack xd . Our government isn't even close to that level of firmness stare .........
