I usually get my manga from Ottakars and my DvDs from MVC actually. sweatdrop
But my parents did order the Escaflowne manga for me online.

I still need to watch all of HMM. I copied it from Kit but never got around to watching it. >.> I also need to watch all of Chobits, except I don't have it.

And I need more DvDs before I do anything like that. I decided to take off all my Naruto and Fullmetal Alchemist from my PC so that I had some space left, but I still have more stuff I need to back up too. sweatdrop

I know very little about the legalities of downloading or file sharing, I get more than my fill of FACT rullings at work.

I do know things are changing at the moment though:

BBC

A landmark ruling on file-sharing says software companies are responsible if their product is used to illegally share music.

The decision has opened the doors for the music industry to sue companies like Grokster, Kazaa and Morpheus.

Supreme Court judges were expected to back file-sharers because of a legal precedent set in 1984 when video recorders first appeared.

The music industry had previously resorted to suing filesharers individually, but are now expected to pursue the software companies directly.
