Ger sat there in his snow, pure fur now wet from his tears. After years of jealousy from the other cubs with fathers and brothers and sisters. The years of actually doubting his mother was his real mother. Years of not knowing so much. He felt so different than everyone else. He always bottled it up only to open the cap when someone asked about his family. Here he had open the cap and now held it nozzle down.
"Kujack, why do you still put up with me...Why couldn't you just let me go to the Firekin Lands. Why did you bother to even save me!?" he shouted when he pounded on Kujack with a small cub paw. "WHY!?" he punded again. "ANSWER ME!" his sobs growing louder.

"Owe, owe, owe."
*The male added every time Ger’s paw hit him. What the hell- jack didn’t want to be hit. With a soft frown he stopped Ger from attacking him and spoke, this time his tone a bit more forceful.*
"You just stop it Ger. You can not let yourself go now. I only did what every real man would have."
*He nodded, puffing his chest out a little.*
"You really just need to rest Ger."
*He added with another nod.*
"And don’t hit me."

Ger sniffed as he fixed the fur around where his little paw was. His back still heaved when he sobbed. A real man, huh? What happened to his bitterness from when they just met? Ger sobbed, but his head was just inches from Kujack's fur. Tears matted his fur all the way down to his chin, Ger was a wreck.
"Kujack...do ya live in the Pride Lands...?" he whispered, trying to clean the fur he had disrupted. "Anywhere near Pride Rock...?" he whispered even softer.

*Oh gods this was the part that the cub asked him to stay with him. Kujack’s claws extended slightly as he let a gulp pass his lungs. What was he doing being so nice? He could have killed this cub hours ago. Tilting his head to the right Jack stopped his movements and thought for a bit, trying to reason with himself. Before too long he found himself speaking, his tone firm.*
"I will always be around. Alright kid? I’m never too far off. Now look here, you need to get some rest, so how about you lay right there."
*Kujack pointed to a patch of green grass, hoping that Ger wouldn’t want himself for a bed.*
"And I’ll just sit here."
*He nodded, being tired himself.*

Ger nodded softly and slowly padded away from Kujack. Circling around, he plopped himself down, head tucked inside. The little cub still sob softly to himself. This would be a perfect time for Kujack to get away, Ger wouldn't mind. Ger was tired, exhausted and lost to even do anything. The little cub curled himself up, all four paws touching, head tucked between, and tail nicely laid on top. A quiet voice could be heard from inside the furball.
"I don't want you to leave...."

*Taking in a deep sigh the male moved himself down and rested his eyes for a bit, before dozing off. He was tired too. He had been resting for about 30 minutes before waking up again, yawning. Looking to his side he eyed Ger softly and frowned. He felt like a father right now, worrying about the tiny thing. As much as he hated to say, he felt bed for him, and wanted him to be happy- er. Moving himself over to the cub Jack sat, his tail wrapping along Ger slightly. He would stay for now.*
