He looked at her, he piped up. "If my memory serves correctly, Bellaream was a goddess who couldn't figure out up from down. And that she had lost favour because she couldn't make up her mind and was extremely forgetful." He sighed. "But I'll go with you, I have nothing else better to do at the present moment."

Adencia looked to the man that had just volunteered himself then thought about her options. She realized she only had two. Either she could stay in the forest and remain without contact as she had been and live with her curse or she could help the cause and free herself. She decided to help. Adencia pulled an arrow out of her quiver and broke it in two then threw it at the woman’s feet as a sign of her cooperation.
“I’m in.” she said in confirmation.

"She is a less than worthy goddess, so I am not convinced, but a better offers not been heard earlier or since." Tala groaned impatiently with her own rhyme, hating her curse more than ever. "I can't help it, so I don't want any trouble from any of you." Her eyes flashed with sincerity and she twirled her staff to emphasize her point. Singing next in a slightly haunting tune she asked "I wan't these things erradicated as sure as the next person, but how can we trust this divine one. Is it not they who forsakened us to our curses in the first place? Tala could not let herself hope for her voice untill she could be sure that she might actually get free. To not sing......She wiped at her eyes irritably before they started to tear.

He looked at the woman who was singing, obviously that was her curse. "Although Bellaream is incompetent, she wouldn't lie. Unless she was told a lie and she was passing off the information. But if she did this, then it isn't a lie." He said. "And mine didn't come from the gods, it came from a man who had a bad sense of humour." He added.

“Your curse came from someone with a bad sense of humor?” Adencia said coldly, “Try waking up in the middle of the night finding yourself miles away from home because you have no recollection of what animal you turned into and how you got there. Try not being able to control when you turn into a ravenous wolf and you eat one of the children in your own village. The very child you would walk to school each morning!”
Adencia’s emotions were running haywire. She slid to the ground, transforming into a large cobra. She gave them all a startling hiss then morphed back into herself. She opened her eyes and saw everyone’s stunned looks. Adencia turned away from them and stared at her feet in frustration.
“I am sorry.” She said, “I did not mean to get angry like that. Sometimes I just can’t control it. You do not know how difficult my curse can be. This is why I will do anything to be rid of it. I never want to kill another ever again.”

He looked at the woman who was yelling at him. "When I first received my curse, I got so angry that I killed everyone in the building. Including the prisoners, some of them being long time friends and allies. All of it because I didn't know how to control mine. But I've learned to control it." He looked at everyone else there. "So can anyone with a curse. Although you can't master it, anyone with a will can at least control it. It takes extreme mental control and will to do it." He said.

The young hostess was rather surprised to learn that the others knew of Bellaream as well, and her reputation. Oh, but perhaps they had the same idea as her of godly aid...and by the sounds of it, were not too sold. When the man and lady elf agreed and pledged their assistance, she shined- but at the songstress's interjection her face froze before she could even begin to settle down their arguements. Isarelle had not had to face a group's disagreements in years, so it took her awhile to find the tongue to speak. The elf's sudden shift to a cobra and back did not help her find her voice, but made her eyes widen a bit. How would she reach them? Then, something the man said made her turn her head towards him. She could feel Garren's voice in her mouth, and her eyes turned to his stones of deep blue as the rest of him was beginning to follow. The watch chirped once as the minute hand reached the next hour, and the shape of Isarelle grew and changed into someone entirely different. Long, golden tresses shrank to a green mop kept from a sharp face by a red linen band across the solemn brow. Ruffles of a dress morphed to become garments of a swordfighter, as well as an elegant sword adjacent to the side of the remaining pocketwatch. Delicate, pale skin hardened to a tanned hide of a taller man, with an air of older age as well. And the dark eyes that came remained upon the man as his voice escaped, taking charge of the matter with a somber tone.
"While that all may be well and true, it can be so only to a certain degree. Sometimes it is not as much a matter of will and mentality, as it is of energy expenditure. The illusion of control can be very tiring indeed."
He slightly smirked to that comment before focusing his attention to the whole group.
"That is why I let Isarelle dream for this healing Teltayten, it is why I am willing to go along with it. While there are ways to cope, I'll try for this way so that we can live."
Awaiting reaction from his message, he shifts his eyes before thinking he should probably explain himself.
"I am Garren D'Amarante."
Within his mind, Isarelle rolled her eyes and sighed. The spectre in his head wished she had told the guests of the change before it happened, but was otherwise contented to scold her sibling.
"You could have told them that first."
Rolling his eyes upwards as if he could see her inside, he mumbled out loud.
"Shush, Isa."
And thus, Garren's dusty social skills were displayed for all to see. What needed to be braced for now was a response.

He quirked an eyebrow at the change. Now this was deffinately..... Different. He smirked at the Garren's cooment. "In your case, that may be true. So I guess it is a general statement, one that may or may not apply to you." He said as he looked at the man. The others seemed normal enough.... Well, when it comes to curses. But Garren and Isarelle's curse seemed to be quite different from the normal curse. "So, if you don't mind me asking, is your curse?" He asked. Of course, some of it is already apparent(sp?) with the whole 'shift from brother to sister' part. But there was probably more to it.

Moving his eyes back down, he glanced to Khnui and prepared himself for something that he had tried to explain countless times before. Hopefully, at least, it would be different for these people.
"My sister and I, essentially- share the same life. Upon every hour, our bodies switch places...but she still remains with me, in here."
He tapped the side of his temple, and Isarelle nodded within it.
"That's right. It's true."
"...They can't hear you, Isarelle."
That comment itself made it seem outwardly like he spoke to no one, and had gotten him strange looks in the past.
"Because of this, the townspeople have been less accepting of us into the nearby village, and-"
He stopped himself cold, thinking carefully before he continued. He should not be so willing to express everything right away. He should know better.
"Before I say another word, I must bring up the fact that introductions are still in order. Though you seem to be willing to help, we don't know who you are yet..."

Ahhh, now that explains a lot. He thought before clearing his throat. "I am Khnui Hksan, I am not from around here. My people.... Or what is left of my people.... Come from the highlands far to the west. My curse is...." He sighed heavily. "My curse is that whenever a friend or someone close to me is harmed by someone else, I go berserk." He said. "I exiled myself in fear of what I would become if I rejoined my people." He thought back to when he first got the curse. It seemed so long ago, everything from that time seemed so long ago.

Adencia was a bit surprised to see a man standing in the place of the woman they had seen earlier but understood the basics of their curse. She waited silently for her turn to give an introduction, unsure of what she would say.
“I am Adencia Vi-suxzen. I come from an ancient ancestry of the Bowen Elves. They live east from here. Very far east. My Elvin brethren outcasted me from our village because of my curse. As I mentioned before I killed one of our own unintentionally. They did not understand my curse for none of the others had this disturbing spiritual mark, so they would not let me stay. I would either leave or die. Ever since then I have traveled west, following where the road takes me always knowing if I look over my shoulder my village would still be there. You already know of my curse. Often in the most inappropriate of times I will suddenly transform into an animal species. It happens most when I let my mind wander or if my emotions are out of hand. The only time I can control myself while in my ‘cursed’ state, if you will, is when I am a serpent or a feline.”
Adencia felt exposed and vulnerable. She had never told anyone about her curse besides her own. To be so open with total strangers was new and unlike her, but she felt a sense of trust in them. They were like her, and she hopped they would remain with her and she hopped that she could be by their sides when their curses were finally lifted. The group looked to the last guest waiting for her introduction but they weren’t entirely sure if it would come.

Tala had remained silent through the entire exchange of words, and bodies, appreciating normal human voices for once. She cleared her throat quietly and gripped her staff when it came her time to announce herself. "I am Tala Tyr'Ka and my curse is just my voice. It gives me certain powers, but its hard to controll and I can absoloutly not speak." She smiled slightly and pushed back her silvery hair from her face. Thats when it hit her. It felt as if her lungs were collapsing under the force of a blow, the air escaping from her in a tight gasp. I didn't tell the whole truth she thought, I didn't, I didn't. Tears seeped from her eyes as she collapsed on the ground holding her sides in a kneeling position.
"The truth," she gasped and wheezed.I can...only tell the truth...all the truth. My words....are...are....binding, every vow I...make I must keep!" She repeated this again and again in short song like gasps. As the words escaped her the pain subsided and she pulled in air in huge gulps. One arm still around her waist she used the other to wipe the tears from her face. Glaring angrily at the gound she sangchanted, "My curse inhibits everything, even my thoughts. I will die trying ot relieve it because I am bound to do so. My sister was killed by her curse and her dying breath bound me to this cause. I can not relieve myself of the burning desire to annihilate every curse. I can not even dream anymore." She raised her head defiently and stood once more, leaning heavily on her staff. She pulled her hood over her face, hiding her tears and the strength tatoos beneath its shadow. She breathed deeply to recompose herself and tried to ignore the stares she felt.

Garren was admittedly taken aback towards their introductions, even though he had already seen some of their curses in action through Isarelle. He almost quickened to the aid of Tala, but subsided as he could sense her need for independency in regaining herself. Afterall, he would want that too. Perhaps after such a long isolation from other people, especially other cursed ones, he did not expect the passion he felt from their demeanors about their afflictions. But in a way, this comforted him. It restored faith in him for Isarelle's mission that he was planning to go along with really just to make her happy. He figured that they would try and give up, but...with this group his thoughts changed. Garren was glad though that he was in control when stories were exchanged, because if Isarelle were not in check- he knew that she would have blurted out everything about them which he personally wanted to keep at bay for now. He wasn't the expressive type anymore, some secrets were better left alone no matter how positively he felt about the assembly. After his moment of introspection, he spoke again.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, then. But now for the quest..."
He turned his eyes to Tala, bringing up a point she mentioned earlier.
"The texts say that curses were created because humans took the power of magic into their own hands, and in that way actually forsook the gods. I do not say this justifies them, and as much as Bellaream seems to be nonsensical she did appear to us in person- as in person as a godly presence makes itself shown, anyway. There was honest intention in her face...and as such a being that reminds me of my sister is tempting to follow. If you truly do want to quest for this Curses' Cure with us, you may stay at our mansion until the time comes to depart. It is quite a surprise to get three people to come so quickly, and I promised Isarelle we would wait until all of the apparent recipients of her summons came. Then..."
He paused, as if a certain voice inside were telling him something.
"...I have been informed we will contact Bellaream again, to- gain her approval? For what?"
A pause.
"To make sure the party appeases her. We should also try to get more information from her, about something important..."
He narrowed his eyes upwards, knowing that she knew what he was talking about.
But in his mind she only smiled, focused on a thought.
"You talked to them, Garren! Very hospitably and well. I'm so proud of you."
Shifting his eyes sheepishly, he looked back towards the group.
"We have many rooms here, so you should not have trouble finding one you'd like to stay in.
With a sudden freeze in his stature, he shut his eyes and upon opening them again Isarelle's amber hues peered out among the group. Though still in Garren's voice, it was was of the girl's raised inflexion as she even caused his hands to clasp as she had done before.
"You can have a room for both you and your shoes, if you want!"
Shaking his head after this, he grit his teeth in an embarassed way. He hated it sometimes when she made him sound so ridiculous.

He thought about the offer he was given. "I'll have to decline your offer. I don't get much sleep for reasons that doesn't really concern you..... More of a personal matter." He said, sighing heavily. The truth of the matter was that he had nightmares. His people was in a war, and the battles and the deaths haunt his dreams. So when he falls asleep, he sees his comrades getting hurt or killed. Which sets of his curse while he is in a state where he can't control it. The first, and only time, that had happened. He massacred an entire town, leaving no one alive. He had then either drunk himself into a dreamlesss state, or got so tired that he would just pass out. His body soon got used to the alcohol, so he could no longer get drunk. He then made a rune that would sap his strength while he slept, so when he went berserk. He couldn't do anything because he was too weak. He didn't like using the rune because it left him extremely vulnerable while he slept, and the time from waking till he got the rune off. So he tried avoiding the rune whenever possible.

Tala appreciated Garren's understanding of needeing to recover on her own. That sort of thing happened every time she tried to lie or withhold the truth. She hated it. Soon though she was returned ot her normal, well as normal as she could be, self and listened to the other man's declining gesture.
"Khnui, if you fear your dreams as I do I can sing you to sleep. There are no dreams in a song of sleep, only rest. I need it myself or I can not remain asleep becuse of my curse which drives me to find the cure of the curses." Looking then to Garren she nodded thankfully and sang "I would appreciate a good bed to sleep in. I have not been well taken in a very long time." Then a puzzled look crossed her face and she asked "Can Isarelle still hear what we say and see what you see? Even though she is within you?"
