I would say you have to pick the times you push your topics. Also, it is VERY easy to piss people off with cutting edge, hotbutton topics. It all depends on the presentation. That will determine how people respond to the thread/guild, and how open they will be to it. The bottom line is keep YOUR personal facts straight. If you have misinformation, what good are you doing eh?
