Shadow: Theres something robotic about the way you describe people. Like you don't concider yourself human. You probably don't want to mention you have a condition, because that tends to make people uncomfortable.

If you don't mind, what exactly is your condition?

Your questions are deep. But... believe it or not I use to be the same way. I could never look people in the eyes, and I didn't like walking anywhere close to a group of people. Eventually, though, I faced my fears and gradually started to look at people in the eyes more. I started with my friends, then worked my way to acquaintences, and then complete strangers. It worked pretty well. ^^

Hmm..so there are others like me.. Friends you say, what if you haven't acquired those..what's it like to have one?
Pretty nice. I dunno how to describe it, though. sweatdrop

That's okay.. I was just curious.. Its funny, I watch others, how they react to certain events..those that I observe seemingly have friends, but then, they are alone.. People move on, they forget about one another, they trust eachother only to find out later they will be persecuted, left to wither..I observe many people and have come to this conclusion.. Are friends really worth it?
Yes, yes they are. I think my life would've been UNBEARABLE without the friends I've known and the great times I've had with them. Sure, it's not perfect. We all have problems with our friends, and trust me, I know what it's like to be hurt just because I had friends. I've had to leave all my friends behind, and make new ones three times. One for each time I've had to move. sweatdrop Of course, I was too young to remember the first time, but... you get the picture.

Really?? They're that important? Yeah..that's another thing, being in the NAVY makes you move a lot..I gave up after a while.

Didn't make ME uncomfortable...

No, honesty is a good thing. Believe me; you don't want to be dishonest, or be friends with people who are dishonest. Those kind of people are quicksand; you always have to question if you can believe what they're saying, and one of the only things friendship has to STAND on is trust.

And yes, friends are worth it, especially the true-blue ones. Best gift you could ever receive, I think.

Off topic, my (other) best friend is finally coming home after 2 and a half years of correction school! 4laugh rofl

Well, I'm 18 now...and that means that I had to fill out paperwork for the draft. Oh boy. I guess it's not something to complain about, I mean...every GUY whose 18 must fill it out. My birthday was Janurary 30, the same day windows vista came out >_< I've been sick for a while, I'm on this medacation that's making me couch and stuff a lot. Aparently, I have fluid built up under my lungs, and on my feet and shins. Yeah...so now I'm walking around with huge pillows for feet. I've gone from being 143lbs one month to 157 the next month. That's NOT natural...it's from water retention. I stayed home from school today and I'm staying home tomorow also to go to a kidney doctor. Aparently, my thyroid and kidneys are getting all messed up. It's always fun at your own birthday party, you seem like you're going to cough up a lung and everybody keeps asking if you're ok. lol when I blew out the candles I couldn't even do that very well. But anyway, has anybody else heard of horibly swelling feet and fluid build up and stuff of that nature? This medication I'm on...it's slow, but I can start to see results. It's like if you have to go a mile, then I'm getting better an inch a day. Atleast the fluid in my head has drained and I can actually HEAR again. You know, without both ears poping like mad.

If there's a moral to this story, it's that World of Warcraft untill 3am everyday and nothing but ramen noodles and pepsi for a week during summer school while the parents go to california is a bad thing to do. Trust me, I'd know.

I hate my major. It's graphic design and all of my teachers have tried to talk me out of, now they've succeeded. There going to be a huge boom of graphic design major coming out of college starting next year, and many of them aren't going to be able to get jobs. So I'm changing my major, so much trouble, to Communications with a specialization in Public Relations/Advertising and a minor in Marketing, what a mouthful, huh?

Yeah my friends rib cage is slowling colapsing on his heart, and theres only a 30% chance of sugurey actually fixing it. If it dosen't he has roughly 3 months left to live.

Jeezum. That's hard to deal with.

It reminds me of my next door neighbor, yet different scenarios. She had a tumor on her spine and they couldn't remove it without killing her. She told us she had about a month to live so we did all we could with her to make those the best days of her life. She died pretty close to the time the doctors predicted. It was sad.

Hopefully the surgery works! I'm not really a religious person, so when I say my prayers are with him it's a pretty big thing.

I can't even begin to imagine what thats like. My mother has thyroid problems, or more accurately her thyroid doesn't function at all. You'll probably have to take a lot of medication for that. I'm so sorry, but at least its looking a little better, right?

Jezz - I hope that works out for you. Do you hate the graphic design or the Public relations whatsit? Either way hopefully it'll grow on you. I'm terrified of the same thing happening to me when I take Comp. Media for my major.

Jeff - I'm so incredibly sorry. I can't imagine what that must be like for you. All you can do is try and spend as much time with them, and hope for the best. My heart really goes out to you and your friend. Its amazing how far we've come medically and yet things like this still happen.

Well, I kinda like this girl(no surprise there)
But I highly doubt she likes me back, she's even mentioned another guy and her friend had me find out if my best friend liked her, well she(The girl I like) told me she doesnt like my best friend anymore but she does someone else, but she thinks the guy she likes has interested in other girls.
So I'm debating on whether to just help her with her boy problems, or just tell her and get the rejection over with.
