I know that, homework is a pain. All though my teachers are letting me have a little fun with it.

If you mean Ronin Warrior DVDs, I have them. I'll take a look at burning the episodes to my computer sometime soon. If I can, I'll put up an episode a week on my website and let you guys download them.
Also, I have Rowen in the "present," though I've had very little time to post or anything. This is probably the fourth time I've said this, but what is the history between Batrias and your character in the future, Shade? I don't know, so I haven't able to proceed in about a month or more...

No guarantees, now. I haven't even tried it yet. But I'll give it a look-see and find out if I can and what happens if I do. If I'm able to, I'll burn the Japanese episodes with subtitles....more to come later...

Here's an idea for the "future." Batrias senses, in a way, the flaws in the armors and recognizes that they are fatal flaws, destructive flaws. That is his motive (though he doesn't know it) for wanting to destroy everything.

If I could spell her name I would
....moving this part to the chatterbox...
also, for the past, this is pre-armor. Dunno if I said so.

I realized that my subconscious mind (from which my best ideas come) had known all along what the "past" was about- for my characters, at least. Remember how I said that Batrias, in the "present" was searching for some book to correlate what he'd found in an ancient Cantonese text? I realized that Japan was more or less a land of savages around 3000 B.C., while China was just getting going. Based on the advanced language skills all of our characters have, it's not a stretch to say that they're all in China, and not Japan. The real question to ask, then: Why would Batrias be baffled about discovering information on the armors in a Chinese book? More to come on that later...

Okay, I revised my idea about the strangeness of the "past." Words like arigato, -san, and ohayo weren't in use in Japan during that time. I haven't been able to pin down exactly when such words came into use. I am certain, however, that Japanese is an offshot of Chinese. Which dialect, I can't tell.
The only alternative to everyone not being in China (which, in the long view of things, might make less sense) is that a pocket of the future exists in Japan. Suppose the origin of the Japanese language came from a time when the language was in common use? Suppose it's really like a wheel; when you search for the end, you come to the beginning. I don't know how this could be, but I have a feeling that Saberstryke's traveling into the past to find the Armor of Holy surely has something to do with it.
Well, that's a headache waiting to happen, isn't it? Any further ideas, anyone?

are you trying to fry my brain??
I'm not going to worry about the exact history to keep it in the real world. This is fantasy, so I say they're in Japan...and since I run LOS, I guess that means it works. I'm sorry if this crimps anyone, but with all the classes I'm taking, I can't study Japanese history and all my classes.
So, until further notice, LOS takes place on the Japanese islands of Honshu and Hokaido.

What about time-traveling? Is that ok?
