I've lost a few pets (and fear losing another one sad ) and this makes me so sad in a happy way...I havve to stop myself from crying.

the funny thing is, my mom was making jokes about that one day.
then later that day, my doberman died.

My Rottweiller died. She had to be put down because she was in pain. She couldn't walk. She couldn't even reach her water bowl. What I would've done to go with her the day of her death.
My neighbor is an animal killer. He keeps dogs to protect chickens and he never feeds them. One of his dogs was whipped to death. I took it upon myself to feed his dogs. Sadly, he never learned the right way to take care of pets. I have a story about a special dog that I was feeding. Her name was Suki (or that is what I named her). It's a long story so I won't tell if you don't want me to.

Thanks so much for posting thiss. I miss my pets dearly.
Wolf, Shadow, Puss, Mr. Kitty, Lotus, Gunther, Sirius, Goldie, Spot, and the other fishes D:, and DJ. I will remember you all foreverr in this heart of mine till I die! Then I'll meet youu at the Rainbow Bridge and we'll be happyy foreverr.

Ah that intro post is making me cry!
The pet in it sounds like a dog or cat though, where as I've had small animals all of my life. I guess I will have tons of pets in heaven since I've had pets with short life spans and have had them ever since I was 5.

I remember reading that poem after putting my first dog down about 3 years ago. I grew up with her, and reading that poem still makes me cry because it reminds me of her. crying

I love that poem. I've read it a few times before when my dog, and cat died, and I just cried, and cried. I couldn't even read it now, I'd just end up crying. crying

crying Now I really miss Sally and Savyna!!!! crying Sally had the cutest little twitchy nose and always came when we called.... and savyna was blind in one eye, had big floppy ears, and again, a cute twitchy nose....
i think i need a minute... crying
