It was growing darker as mink and the other were ready to leave.

~right Sandy would you lead the way. i took so many turns i got lost~ mink said lifting her pack onto her back.

The large magiwolf nodded and lead the way through the darkining forrest.

Jimbo stiffened as they pasted the small lake where he had first seen Blackshadow. and he moved closer to minkey.

minkey stoped as she felt a wave of fear pass through her. but shook it off and kept walking.
~dont worry Jimbo we'll be home soon~ she said as he moved closer.
mink slowly stroked his mane as they walked on past the pool.

Jimbo awoke to the sound of voices approaching.
The fire was almost out and only a soft glow of the slowly dieing embers lit the campsite.

~Well Dart it' a shame he was all ready gone when we got there it would of been fun to watch~ Came a low eerie voice as two shadows walked through the tree's.
~I know Shadow but you know the rules. Lady Neo demands we return before sunrise because of the curse and she cant stand to look at us if we get stuck like that. Remember when Battlespirit got caught out in the light. None have seen him since. ~
Jimbo moved closer to mink as he watched the two come closer to the campsite.

Mink awoke suddenly as she felt something move closer. Sitting up she saw Jimbo shaking and staring out into the trees.
Mink followed his line of sight and saw the two shadows moving round.
Putting a hand on Jimbo?s shoulder to calm him mink whispered in his ear ~don?t worry Jimbo I wont let any thing harm you~
Patting his neck she got up and waking Lita walked towards the shadows.

Jimbo watched as Lita bounded over towards him and mink crept closer to the two shadows.
~What is she doing Lita? They?re the ones who trapped me~ Jimbo said standing up ready to run.
Lita hopped onto his back ~ mink says as long as we stay here we should be fine. She?s going to try to trick them so they stay here and we can trap them. ~ Lita replied ~ Mink doesn?t want them to hurt any one else. ~
Jimbo sat back down but still wasn?t convinced.

Mink crept closer to the two shadows and moving quickly she slipped in front of them and set things up in a clearing.
~Hello little one.~ Shadow said as they saw mink standing in a clearing. ~why are you hear all alone at this time of night?~ her voice sounded sweet and caring but mink picked up another feeling from there eyes.
~I was out playing with my friends but I got lost.~ mink said faking tears wanting the two to come closer so she could set the trap.
~Well we saw some others on are way here. ~ Dart said moving closer to mink nudging her softly.
~Yes we can take you to them just hop up on my back and we?ll fly you there~ shadow said smiling sweetly.
Mink knew they shouldn?t be trusted and was shocked when she felt her body move on its own and she mounted Shadows back.

Jimbo could only watch in horror as mink mounted Shadow and they took off into the sky.

Lita guided Jimbo towards where mink had fallen her only guide was a gap in the treetops where mink had fallen through.
Jimbo pushed his way through the thick under growth that was slowing him down.
~How much further Lita? ~ Jimbo called out treading down a path as he went.
~Not much further you’ll be there in a few minuets I’ll go ahead to find her~ Lita replied before flying off.

Mink shook her head then regretted doing so as her head throbbed. Slowly mink pulled herself up and looked around. Nothing but trees and dense scrub. Looking up mink saw a hole in the trees where she had fallen through.
~Wow~ mink thought ~if I’d been any higher I might not have lasted~ Mink shuddered at the thought and winced as pain ran through her body.
~MINK? MINK! ~ Mink looked up and saw Lita darting through the trees towards her.
~Are you ok? ~ Lita said landing at her feet
Mink smiled ~I’ve been better. Where’s Jimbo? ~ Mink asked hurriedly trying to stand and winced as she tried to put pressure on her right foot.
~Jimbo’s fine he’s on the way right now. ~ Lita said moving to help mink. As if on queue Jimbo came through the trees to there left.
Both moved towards each other and mink gave him a hug
~Oh Jimbo I was so worried about you~ mink said hugging him
~Well I think we should get out of here before they decide to come back~ Lita said picking up minks bag.
Both nodded with agreement ~Jimbo you going to have to help me cause I cant put any weight on my foot I think it’s broken ~ Mink said putting an arm round his neck

Jimbo walked carefully back the way he’d came with mink holding onto his neck for support.
Lita padded ahead leading the way ~turn left here well get home quicker~ Lita said padding ahead.

Jimbo looked around they were still in the Dark wood he started to think that the walk would take forever but in a few short minutes they were out of the woods.

Mink looked up as the light got brighter and smiled
~Well Jimbo Welcome home~
Mink instructed Lita to find Sandy And Yuki who should be in the house to meet them at the stables.
